Q:I notice the car revs up 1 rpm when in park( that's the idle), but how to correct the problem. My reserch show i need a resister by the spark plug. Were do I get the resister from?
An auto parts store, but if the engine light is on you better NOT be driving it except maybe to be repaired. It is dangerous to your engine! Warning1 Warning!
Q:Hi, I have a 2010 Mazda Mazda 3. I‘m looking into switching over to HID Lights, however I don‘t know if this is expertise or not. Is it simply buying new HID bulbs instead of the halogens, or do I need to have a whole new lighting system in place? Please help and explain! Also, what are the HID kits?
HID kits allow you to have an HID system in most vehicles. Installation is relatively simple, but if you are worried, you should ask a car electrician expert to help with the install.
Q:i have a ford galaxy 1999 glx 2.3 petrol car and the abs light is staying on sometimes it goes off it went off yesterday and came bk on this morning i dunno what is happing with thiscan someone help me please thanks its been in the auto elecs yesterday and he checked all the wires and its all fine and before that it was in a garage for 2 weeks and there is nowt up with it.is had a new fan belt tensor and a air con compressor
The ABS light will come on when a fault is detected in any part of the ABS system. There are sensors on the wheels (usually part of the braking assembly) there is also a pump/motor/valve assembly and that is what pumps the brakes so you don't have to. The pump may have gone bad, you need to check the computer codes that have been stored. (this requires a code scanner) The brakes should continue to function just fine but you will have no ABS function until you fix the problem.
Q:driving to work check engine light came on not driving any diffrent
Suggestion, use plastic pipe. There are three or more types out there now. The clamps crimp on or glue. all the fitting are available to convert. I won't go back since I 've used it. Copper pipes are becoming a thing of the pass.
Q:Yesterday my check engine light came on, so I took it to Auto Zone. The guy scanned it and the code was insufficient egr flow. He recommended trying Gumout complete fuel system cleaner, before spending $45 for a new valve. Is there a chance it will work? I have a 2000 Mercury Sable by the way.
Not likely. A EGR pulls unburnt gases from your exhaust and recycles them into your intake. Gumout would be burned inside your cylinders to get rid of carbon deposits in the block and not much if any would be able to get recycled in your EGR. You can remove your EGR and soak it in carburetor cleaner overnight to loosen the deposits and then use a soft brush to get the stubborn dirt out. Be careful when soaking the valve though, the (I don't know the technical term) rubber parts on the inside can be damaged by carb cleaner so try to soak as much of the metal parts as you can in it and keep that rubber part dry. $45 isn't bad for a new valve by the way. A new one in my truck is over $100 and thats considered cheap by some.
Q:Why is the car bulb easy to burn? Where is the problem
Circuit board problem
Q:My AC went out, and a few days later my emissions light came on. It‘s making a whining chuga-chuga-chuga sound when I crank it up, that gets quieter as I drive. I tried adding freon to fix the AC problem, but it hasn‘t helped. It blows warm, but still works, btw. Could these 2 problems be related? Anyone have any idea what‘s going on with it?
They're probably coincidental. Most AC systems fail because of leaks in seals, not because of mechanical failure, and putting in more freon won't do any good if it just leaks out. New seals are fairly cheap, and readily available at any auto parts store, but the system should have a dye in it that can be seen with an ultraviolet light to pin point the leak. It shouldn't be a big deal to fix. If the emissions light turned on, there's probably a trouble code stored on the computer, which can be read with any code reader. It's very likely to be for a bad oxygen sensor or two. Again, not a big deal to fix.
Q:Mechanic turned it off using a tool- said it was an old crash sensor code but it came back on the next day. He couldn‘t trouble shoot it any further- only option on his tool was to turn it off. It hasn‘t been hit in years- why would the light start blinking now? I tried to manually reset it following the procedure but it did not work. He said it is probably the sensor in the console. Is there anything else I can do to fix it. I‘ve heard that sensor is $800. Where could I find it for less? Junk yards like to sell with the airbag which I don‘t need. Is this an easy job to do by myself?
turn on the airbag if possible and take off the negative side of the battery for 6 second when you do this it will reset all the error codes and the status of the computer will be default don't forget to hook the negative side back up
Q:The engine light was on the other day and I went to Auto Zone to check. The code was P0456. And they told me that there was some minor problem with the fuel cap. I checked the cap and I tightened it again, everything was fine but the light was still on. That‘s going on?
challenging matter seek on google it could actually help
Q:I currently own a D3200 which has difficulty focusing in low light conditions, and I‘m thinking of upgrading to a semi professional camera.
No matter how good an AF system is, when light is very low, it will fail. That is unless you're using infrared. The D850 has no low light focus assist lamp. To use a feature like that, you will need a Nikon flash that has its own focus assist beam.
Already has more than 20 day line lamp, mainly including the following series, cheap beautiful C series, high performance-to-price ratio D series, high-end beautiful H series, the colorful eagle eye lamp E series.Mainly includes 120 cm the length of the day light, 160 cm, 190 cm, 220 cm, with high-power lamp bead, small power lamp bead, SMD lamp beads, straw hat light bead line sections, such as light, to provide customers the most comprehensive neat day lights series.
