Q:I have an automatic 2005 Toyota Matrix with power locks and windows. For some reason, when my husband pressed the beeper to unlock all the doors, all the doors unlocked except the driver side door. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but this morning, when I unlocked the car, it did the same thing.Also, I have the car set so that when it is put into gear it automatically locks all the doors. Again, the doors all lock except the driver side. Even when I push the button to lock the doors that is on the door, all the locks lock except the driver side.I didn't know if maybe a weird button was pressed or if something is wrong with the lock. Any ideas? And also, if something is wrong with the lock, any suggestions on getting it fixed? price? or any other relevant info would be great!!! Thanks.

Q:I had blood drawn today at the lab at my doctor's office. The person that drew the blood wore gloves but then she had an assistant come by and put the gauze and tape on without wearing gloves. I asked if she should be wearing gloves and she says that she didn't wear them because they'd stick to the tape and that she didn't actually touch the blood so it's ok. I just wanted to make sure in other's experiences that is normal. I'm always paranoid about getting STDs. Thanks!

i would suggest you take a picture or two of your existing piping, measure the sizes of the pipes, take pictures and measure the new pipe connections and take them to a hardware store and show them what you want to do. hope that helps.

I'd second the conditioner idea. Buy a good dry hair conditioner and cover your head from roots to tip and leave it on for just an hour, putting it in a shower cap. Your hair just needs a lot of moisturizer.

Q:My private violin tescher once told me that a violinist once was tuning his violin with the peggs and the E string popped off and cut his eye. Then since there was little medical technology he later died. I know that the E string is very skinny and can cut through things very easily but I do not know if it was something she told me to scare me so i would not turn my peggs and risk popping my string off. Use a 1/2 sharkbite coupling. It will fit the copper and pb with no compression or soldering. It simply slides onto the pipe and that is it, just make sure you have it all the way on the pipe. You will likely have to ream the inside of the copper to remove that ridge.burr inside so it will slide over the inside stiffener in the sharkbite fitting. I am not sure if some of the hardware stores will have them but a plumbing supply should. You can also buy a small orange plastic release fitting to remove the coupling or remove one piece of pipe from the coupling for future work. It will cost around $5.00 but it is well worth it, way simple and easy. Best of luck.

I have a 4 slice toaster that adusts for different thicknesses of bread. A toaster oven is much more expensive to run for just making toast. Any 110V appliance used for cooking uses way more power to operate. Before I had my electric stove, I had an electric oven and the bills dropped dramatically after getting the stove.

it creates a seal around the pipe fittings to keep it from leaking. its alot less messy then thread sealer. just spin it around your pipe in a clockwise motion a couple of times :0)
