Ive downloaded opera mini already but everytime i try to play a vid on youtube it will say protocol not supported. so can i get this phone to play youtube vids or what?: The Motorola i475 is too old of a cell phones. It is what we call a WAP phone. It can't access any internet website like a desktop can. The internet on this cell phone is more of text and menus like when the internet was more of menus and numbers. It won't be able to play videos or anything like that. Even Boost Mobile won't even activate this cell phone. As you know Boost Mobile is getting rid of any cell phone that uses the IDEN network. The cell phone Motorola i475 is a IDEN network phone since it has that walkie talkie feature. Boost Mobile will no longer support IDEN cell phones but only use CDMA network. So this cell phone is obsolete. All their cell phones on Boost Mobile website only use CDMA network.

Q: HiI have lost my mobile phone.My phone was Samsung Galaxy Ace ST 5830.I heard this model has a speacial feature which let you track your mobile .but I dont know how to use this feature.I reported the incident to the police.they asked my IMEI NO and invoice. so the police said they will use IMEI NO to find it but I also would like to use the track program on samsung if there is.: there are several ways to track a lost or stolen smartphone. you can plan ahead and install an app such as my lookout to locate your device via gps, or register you device with asurion. however in your case this isnt very helpful. but all hope is not lost, as long as your phone has a charge, you can remotely install an app called plan b from lookout mobile security for free, from a laptop/pc/tablet.etc and once remotely installed you can then receive several email alerts stating closer and closer coordinates of your device. i have tested it on my phone, it was accurate within 3 meters, very impressive. i would like to add that i know most android users have a gmail account linked with their phones, and if your phone is not locked, the person with your phone may be able to access the emails being sent to the phone and realize hey they are tracking this, and pull the battery out. also this app allows you to send a text with the word locate to your phone and it will email you the gps coordinates. again, if the phone is not locked, that could be bad. i know there are several similar apps that can be remotely installed after the fact on the market, i just know plan b is a really good one. but hey chances of you finding it are pretty good considering the police and the technology available for you device. good luck and let us know in the additional comments if you found it.

I can't use my phone without having to pay roaming charges. Is there a way to change my number online? If not, how do I cancel my account without losing my first month's payment?(Virgin Mobile's online support is a joke and I'm not waiting an hour and a half again to just to be told to call back later again): Well I have virgin mobile and to change your area code or full number is free and must be done over the phone with a different phone, also there are no roaming charges for virgin. If you are in a different state it works the same (been there done that) there are no charges for anything you do not add to your phone and NO you can't get your money back unless you have not used any minutes on the phone, I just went through this last month but I didn't use any minutes and was refunded. Virgin mobile is not like most pay as you go phones there is no roaming fee and you can't do anything if you do not have money to pay for it in your top-up. Just call VM or keep the number. Q: Anyone has or has had a virgin mobile phone--- what are the pros and cons. I know they're good 'cause there is no contract but money wise would you spend more on one of these then on a cell phone with a contract?: With any pre-paid phone you could easily end up paying double what you would pay with a contracted phone. If you would talk on it a lot, like more than 30-45 mins a day then it would be more expensive. With virgin mobile it is more expensive than other pre-paid services. I would suggest you go with Cingular Go Phone's if you know a lot of people on the Cingular network because you get unlimited mobile to mobile. And a)that saves you money and b) it saves your minuets. The major con to the Cingular Go Phones is that they dont have the latest and greatest phones. Virgin mobile has some pretty neat ones. They are both easy to set up, and if you go into any RadioShack they will more than likely offer to set them up for you. And if it can be, not very easily. Here's why. Virgin Mobile makes great cheap phones. But they come at a different price. They intentionally limit (nice way of saying cripple) the phone in certain ways to prevent phone unlockers from taking these cheap phones and putting them on other phone networks like Metro PCS or Cricket. Virgin Mobile along with Tracfone both sell cheap phones and are famous for suing big time phone unlockers. And often winning the lawsuits too. To prevent unlockers from hacking their phones , one of the most common things they do is limit user access to the phone by limiting usb cable connections, bluetooth and other data port connections between the phones and pcs ( usb cable connections is one of the most common ways to flash/unlock a phone). The Aloha might be an exception but I don't think so because it is a cheaper model. (Virgin doesn't want some company buying up hundreds of Alohas at Best Buy or whatever and reflashing them and reselling them for a big profit at Virgin Mobile's expense.) They spend a lot protecting their lower end stuff. Kind of ironic really .
