- 1) Upgrading to a different phone 2) Well you change contract do depends if you have to buy the phone 3) you get a new one I think but keep your number 4) Well when you upgrade you have to get a phone that is more expensive that your current phone 5) no you have to upgrade through your network, if you're with t-mobile I think you can upgrade to EE, but if you want to go to like 3 or something you'll have to wait until your contract ends and cancel it, and get a new one with 3 for example.
- Q:I have a t-mobile phone and a plan. But i'm only a year into my contract. I don't want to change the plan but i want to change the phone. I was wondering if i can buy the phone i want from t-mobile which is a SIDEKICK LX- carbon. and just insert my SIM CARD into it and use it. Will it work if i just put my SIM card into it? and will i be able to access the network AIM. i don't need anything else. i just want to be able to receive and send calls and log into AIM, keep the same phone number and listen to my music thats it. can someone help me out plz. - I also have t-mobile and they have good customer service well if you buy one for t-mobile i think you can buy the full price which about $200 or they could extend your contract and give it to you with a discount. I would rather just buy the phone. Not having a contract makes you monthly bills a little lower for like 20 less. It does have AIM so don't worry and yes you can just insert the Sim card to you new phone with the same number.

- The first one is the company asking you to acknowledge that you did in fact order a phone. The second one is probably the phone is being held up waiting for the acknowledgment letter to return. Is probably standard practice for some companies to do this. It's actually for your safety as much as theirs (making sure someone else isn't ordering a phone on/with your name).

- Nope. Sorry to tell you that T-Mobile has made their phones to have the T-zone dafault in there. You cannot change it. I have tried it with some of my Samsung Tmobile phones. Its imposible. The only way out of this is re-flash the phone with the samsung firmaware not Samsung -tmobile firmware.

- My boyfriend and I both have T-Mobile. He has the blast and I had the Nokia 5310 (i recently upgraded to the G1.) The blast is an ok phone. The battery life is not anything amazing but it is ok. I really liked my Nokia 5310. It was compact, had a great music player and it had a long battery life. I know its not a slider phone but you should really check it out. They also have them on sale for $50, just at your budget!

- No, that will not work, and for several reasons: 1.) Straight Talk will not accept a Boost Mobile phone, period. 2.) Boost Mobile phones are not compatible with Straight Talk's GSM SIM cards. 3.) Boost Mobile phones with SIM card slots are either iDEN (which will not work with a GSM SIM card), or are locked from being used outside of Boost Mobile.
