Q: i have a ASUS M4A87TD-USB3 mobo and a Corsair 550 Watts Power Supply. Ive looked in the manual andit says you need to connect the one that ive connected and a 4 pin. It says that if you dont connect the 4 pin the computer wont boot! is there a way around this or it f**ked?
Just replace the power supply. What's the problem? You have an OLD ATX powersupply with 20-pins. The NEWER ATX power supply is 20+4 pins. --- Kasey C, PC guru since Apple II days Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
Q: For example i have the Pelican xbox 360 av and power cables not the microsoft kind. So as i heard does it make a difference like does the intercooler still eventually melt in to your xbox 360 or will it stay normal? I ask this question because my niece also has an xbox 360 and while my 360 was getting repaired i came over to play her 360, when i plug in the intercooler it worked fine but i had a little trouble pulling the power brick cord out of the intercooler and hers is microsoft av and power cables, but when i pull my Pelican power brick cable out of my intercooler it came out easily, no trouble at all. So thats why i wanted to ask the question.
its not going to melt your xbox 360. its why they made it to cool down the system. if someone told u it will is stupid.
Q: i have a 2001 corolla with a new amplifier. when they wanted to test the amp after all wiring was done, they somehow wired the amps power cable to my negative connection on the battery. i turned on the electrics on the car and they all work. then i tried starting it, and how the engine wont start and the lights dim when im turning the key. what happened? and how can i fix this major screw up???
You probably drained the battery down some how or have a bad connections at the battery. try charging the battery. I don't think you could have messed anything up too bad on the car.
Q: I was walking through the bush recently and I noticed that there were cable towers separated by a valley. How would they get the cable between the towers when there is a cliff on either side?
I doubt they use a rope to pull that cable. Even if they upsize the rope each time, it sounds as a waste of time to me. They have hellicopters that transport tanks now. I doubt that they can't carry the weight of a cable accross a valley. The kite story is cute, but I would say its great child reading material before bedtime....... lol:)
Q: my friend has a ps2 and i don't know which one hes got either the fat or the slim and i think the power cables for the fat and the slim are differnt so does the ps3 slim power cable work on any of them?
The power cord for the ps3 slim is the same as the fat ps2. The power cord for the fat ps3 only goes to the fat ps3.The cable for the ps2 slim has two parts and the can take it apart and use it on ps3 slim.
Q: hi i need some extra help in looking for a power cable for my pioneer kuro tv cable iv looked in OKorder and on pioneer and no joy does anyone have any ideas where i could get one please any help will be gratefully received thank you
It should be one of a couple standard styles. Electronics stores should have them.
Q: in the system unit
One is to transmit data and the other to transmit power. Your head not working this morning or just trolling?
Q: I asked before about installation of power and control cable in the same conduit .. I think it is not a good practice.. I want to ask about installing 2 power cable each 480V in the same conduit ..Also I want to know if it is mentioned in any standard like NECthx
You can as long as every cable in the raceway is insulated at least for the maximum voltage in the raceway. NEC 300.3 (C) (1). You also need to consider raceway fill limits, and ampacity derating for 4 or more current carrying conductors.
Q: What is the role of white mesh in power cables?
This is not the end of the family with a good audio and video lines are thousands of dollars I do not know what kind of advice you want to go to the local workers Duan Gengmang Gama moths tied to the supermarket stall can find!
Q: I don't know what the cable is specifically called, so I am having no luck finding it. I just keep finding adapters. Am I able to buy a replacement?
If the power cable you are speaking of really was for power then it might be a type of adaptor cable so your power supply in your PC can connect to your graphics card. Graphics cards typically are getting their power from the power supply directly and usually there's either a 6-pin or 8-pin plug on your power supply (assuming you have the right power supply) that connects directly to the graphics card. Sometimes there is no 6 or 8 pin connector so the manufacturer of the graphics card will supply an adaptor cable to connect to a standard Molex connector. (see link)
