- To sum in up: the houses were built to last,smaller rooms. The only problem I have seen is lead was used in all the paint along with the water lines coming into the home. Electricity now-a days are a vast improvement compared to back then.More outlets per room have to placed 18 inches above the floor,back then you would find outlets in the floor.

- Q:i am trying to decide which toddler vacuum cleaner to get my daughter for christmas. i've been reading reviews and still can't decide. we have a dyson which we *love* but the childs dyson has the worst reviews of all, it seems. does anyone have the kids dyson, hoover, dirt devil... or any of the other ones? i really just want the one that actually works the best. we have 4 dogs and my 2 y/o actually will go around with our handheld and go straight for dog hair to 'clean up.' i'd like to get her up off her knees and be able to do the 'push and pull' with a real vacuum like mommy and daddy do since that's what she really wants... plus using the dustbuster has her hands closer to the brushes than i'd like.

- Q:I have bought 4 vacuum cleaners in the past that all have fallen apart or just quit running right in the middle of using them, and all were less than 6 months old. I got tired of buying high price vacuum cleaners and them not lasting even 90 days. I have bought Hoover, Eureka, Dirt devil, and Phantom vacuums all of them turning out to be what I would say to be large rip offs.
- You get what you pay for with new vacuums. What you bought was not high-priced stuff except maybe the Hoover. A high-priced new vacuum could cost $2,000. Go find a good used one at a sales/service place. I have a Filter Queen about 30 years old that just got its first repair. A new motor, $150 installed. I expect it to last another 25 years now because there's hardly anything else to break on it. That vacuum has vacuumed massive amounts of pet hair in the 25 years I've owned it, and anything else except water that would fit through the hose. I just helped a friend of mine buy the same model, $200 with a new motor, 2 year warranty on the motor, a year on everything else.

- I think it's the noise, yes, but it's also the fact that the noise is so sudden, from complete silence or whatever's going on in the room previously. If a cat is motionless and all of a sudden, something is pushed towards her and she has less of a comfort zone, that may also scare her. One of my previous cats used to puff up her tail, curl her tongue and hiss at the vacuum until it was about 6 inches away from her. Then she'd run and hide until the noise stopped and the monster was put back in the closet. If the monster stayed out in the open, she would attack it with her paw when it was shut off!

- I have a Roomba Discovery and it cleans my medium pile carpet wonderfully! None of the Roomba vacuums are recommended for shag carpet or fringe rugs. You also must move wires and cords, just like with a regular vacuum.To get the best cleaning possible from your Roomba you should clean the brushes regularly. Most of the Roomba models now come with a brush cleaner, but if your doesn't, you can order one for less than $5.00. If you have pets I would recommend the Roomba Discovery for Pets. You are correct...they are really cool! My Roomba and Scooba(the robot that mops) are the BEST house cleaning products that I have ever owned..
- Q:Saw some kid on tv the other day that collects vacuum cleaners. Couldn't believe it. I guess there is a club for vacuum collectors. I think this is the craziest thing I've ever heard. What about you?
- As unique and crazy as that sounds, I've never herd of such an activity. If you ask me it sounds rather odd, and pointless. I personally don't like vacuums though, they tend to make a lot of noise pollution and I just can't stand that. But, I guess all people have different things they find to their likings, but this is one thing I'll never understand.

With the progression in technologies robots have recovered too. they don't get caught now, The battery existence has superior to a bigger component. you do no longer would desire to hardship approximately its charging they do it them self. whilst they experience low on power they'll at once return to the flexibility source and satisfy the charging needs.
