- Q:Vtwin doc helped me out with this dam thing recently Im thinking he has the 411! So here goes: My friends coil went bad and we used a single fire coil on a dual fire ignition. V twin doc showed me how to do that. But it still doesnt quite run proper. So here are the settings:Its set at 5900 R.P.M. limit,with advance slope at 9.the rear cylinder is set at 0.Its set on dual fire,its set on electric start.and its set on multi spark not single.Its a crane fireball hi 4e model 8-3100. It cranks for a bit before starting and runs a little rough at low R.P.M. ran just fine with the stock coil.
- I don't know how much this is gonna help, but on my Ironhead I use a 8-2100, set at 1degree BTDC, and rear at 2 BTDC and electric start in race mode. Now I have aggressive cams and I don't know how it's supposed to be for a stock single stick.

- There are so many kinds of cranes that you need to pick one to get any kind of good answer - the tall T shaped cranes are simply welded up from tubing and barstock into modular sections that will fit on a semi trailer and be hauled to the site. - a partial cheat that i use is 1st looking to see which items are at least open enough to get 2nd when i start up i get to the item then to go the left and right of item and adjust which way i go then try to aim for the middle of the item wanted then there is an 80 % chance that i will get the item i am aiming for but some of those crane games are rigged to the point you have to go at least 2 or 3 times depending on what type items are on there because the crane arm looses strength especially if it is far away from the exit hole
