Application

Single Stage Double Suction Split Case Pump is used for conveying water or the physical and chemical properties similar to water and other liquids suitable for factories, mines, urban water supply, power stations, agricultural irrigation and water conservancy.

Characteristic

Compact structure,beautiful outline,stable operation,low noise;

Both inlet and outlet of this pump are placed under the axial line,so it is unnecessary to remove the inlet and outlet pipeline and motor;

The shaft seal of water pump has fine mechanical seal and soft stuffing seal,which can be selected according to different condition by user;

The impeller is static-balance calibrated,fixed on the shaft with round nut,and its axial position can be adjustedvia the round nut;

The pump is direct drived by motor via resilient coupling,it can be drived by internal combustion engine if it is necessary.

Technical Data

Capacity50-20000m3/h
Head10-230m
Speed2900/1450/980/740/580/3500/1750/1180/890/710rpm

Material

Casing: Cast iron/ ductile cast iron/cast steel/stainless steel/duplex stainless steel

Impeller: Cast iron/ ductile cast iron/brone/stainless steel/duplex stainless steel

Shaft:C-steel/stainless steel

The rotation direction

Viewed from motor, the direction of the pump is anti-clockwise,that is the suction in the left, the discharge in the right.

The rotating direction of the type pump is clockwise, that is the suction in the right, the discharge in the left.

Also can move the driver to another edge according to the user’s requires. Then, the rotating direction, the suction and discharge direction is in the opposite as the described above.

Single Stage Double Suction Split Case Pump

Q:My boyfriend told me that my car needs a new water pump. He said this because when you start the car, it sounds like trickling water is coming from somewhere in the engine bay. The car overheated once before and he put coolant in it, ever since then, it hasn't overheated. But last week he told me that I shouldn't drive it at all because the pump is about to go. I went out today and started it to see if I can hear the quot;grindingnoise that I read about online and all I hear was the trickling sound. It's rainy outside so I can't tell if the pump is leaking water from the quot;weepquot;. Is it the water pump? I want to make a two mile round trip to go pick up sushi and the place is a mile there and a mile back. Will I seize my engine or get stranded if I make this tiny trip? Is it my water pump?
You don't mention make, model, or year, but it could be the water pump or some other leak. Your boyfriend can see the car so I am leaning toward his explanation. Check the first source for your make, model, and year, and engine type if you know it. If the entry for your car (or for any of the engines for your car, if you don't know which one) has a # after it the timing belt drives the water pump. If that is so, don't drive it at all until you either determine it is not the water pump or it is repaired. If the pump seizes and it is driven by the timing belt the timing belt will fail. And if the engine is an interference design (has an * along with the #) that will probably cause serious engine damage. The safe thing to do in any case is to try to bum a ride from a friend in the meantime. The shifting problem is probably something else.
Q:yesterday the electric went out for a while we had some big storms and now the water doesnt work, the pump is running but there is no water coming out, i need help on how to fix it, please. hurry
You might need a new foot valve. That keeps the water from draining back into the well. Depending on what type of pump you have, could be at the bottom of the well. To bleed the well, you need to remove the plug on the motor...it looks like a nut...about 3/4. You remove that and fill with water...when its full, turn the pump on and keep filling it till it gushes out...put the plug in (with new teflon tape) and it should work. Be careful not to touch the electrical, could get shocked. Its easy if the foot valve is good.
Q:I would like a website that has pictures but any info would be helpful...
Even if you put the auxiliary water pump on its still going to leak. The water will still circulate through it. All you need to do is buy a gasket and some silicone, spend a total of $50 and fix it.
Q:i want to change the water pump on my on a 70 hp (70C) nissan outboard motor and i never pulled a lower unit, not sure what to expect thanks for any help
CW pushes water up into the motor housing.
Q:My 93 Ford t-bird over heats and i really don't know what could be the problem, the radiator is working fine, and also the fan and the thermostat, i don't think is a head gasket because the oil looks alright with no contamination and there is no steam coming from the exhaust im beginning to suspect the water pump but the weep hole is not leaking. So does a water pump MUST leak from the weep hole if it is bad, or it could be bad and not leak? thanks in advance...
Water pumps fail with some regularity--you can expect to replace yours sometime before 100,000 miles, if not sooner, and here's how to do it.Step2Locate the water pump pulley. The pulley is the round part that the belt is attached to. To find it, look for the belts. You will see more than one pulley. Your car will have an alternator with a pulley and perhaps an air conditioner power steering and smog pump pulleys. If you are unsure, ask your mechanic to point out the water pump pulley. Step3Grab opposite ends of the round pulley and check for play (looseness): Try to rock it back and forth. There should be no give. If there is, the bearings are going and it's time to replace the water pump. By the time you can feel play in the water pump pulley, you may also be able to hear the bad bearing when the engine is running - there may be a low-pitched grinding noise coming from the water pump pulley. Step4Visually check the water pump (it's located behind the pulley) for signs of a coolant leak. If the water pump gasket is leaking, it must be replaced. This is a good time to get a new water pump, too, unless it was just recently replaced.
Q:okay i just put a new camshaft in my truck and before my water pump seemed to work but it leaked a little bit but my truck never got hot well i drove it a little bit after puting in the new camshaft and the top radiator hose and heater hose was warm but the bottom radiator hose was cold so i think my water pump went out but not to sure thanks to any answers
when your water pump goes out, either it will leak from the weep holes which are the holes drilled in the pump by the manufacturer or around the pulley. If that is happening then its your pump. The other thing to check would be your thermostat, check this by turning your truck on and leaving the lid of the radiator. check the temperature of the water in the radiator with your finger if it warms up in ten minutes then its not your thermostat, if the water level goes down ( like lack of water) then its the pump.
Q:Pump impeller diameter plus assembly what changes? What's the effect on the motor?
1., the larger the diameter of the impeller, the greater the head, the greater the flow rate, because the flow of water depends on the speed of rotation of the impeller generated by the centrifugal force and the line speed on the tangent, the greater the diameter, the centrifugal force and the greater the speed of the line. The relationship between the centrifugal pump water delivery and the vacuum degree is that the centrifugal pump is the centrifugal force principle to complete pumping. Without water, the time and space turn will burn out the equipment.2., the head and impeller diameter is related, the larger the impeller, the greater the head, and vice versa. The flow rate has little to do with the impeller diameter. Under the rated conditions, the greater the head, the smaller the flow rate, inversely proportional.
Q:I need a water pump gasket for my mustang water pump.What can I use if I have no gasket material?
Water Pump Gasket
Q:What is a 1 inch water pump?
A pump with a diameter of 1 inches.
Q:I want to buy a 2000 Audi tt coupe that seems to be in good condition. The owner mentioned he has replaced the water pump. What could the reason be for having to replace the water pump? Could the car have over heating issues?
Water pumps do not last forever. Since you do not tell us the mileage of this 2000 Audi TT I will hazard a guess that it has over 100k on the odometer, in which case it should have had at least one timing belt and water pump change in its past. There are quite a few other wear and tear items that should also have been replaced by now. Before you buy ANY used car from ANYONE you should have your own trusted Audi mechanic do a pre purchase inspection (PPI) on the vehicle as well as go over the maintenance records that the current owner possesses. Do not, under any circumstance just take the sellers word for anything.
