Q:Do good speakers really make a differerence and why?
speakers are the only part of the stereo you can actually hear. small differences in speakers can make a huge difference in the sound quality.
Q:I got Philips speakers (5 speakers) and I can barely hear anything from the back 2 speakers. the front 2 are working fine but i can barely hear a thing from the ones in the back. I tried changing the speaker setup in the audio options but it keeps putting it back at 7.1 I think I need 5.1 but it won't let me change and when i do manage to change it (without exiting the audio options) the back 2 speakers still barely work. Please helppp!!!!!
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you are new to surround sound. The rear speakers aren't supposed to play all the time. The purpose of surround sound is not to to give you multiple speakers around the room tha all play the same level of sound, but to give you multiple speakers, all playing sound independently in order to give you a realistic sound experiance. What you should be witnessing is something like this: Center Channel - This speaker is used primarily for dialogue. Almost everything that people say on the TV screen will come from this speaker. Front L and R - These speakers produce most of the sound effects coming from on the screen, such as explosions, doors opening and closing, etc. If you can see the event happening on the television screen, you can bet that your front speakers will be playing those noises. Rear L and R - These speakers are used for off-screen sounds. For instance, if in a movie, a phone rings off in the distance and can't been seen on the TV screen. This is where your rear speakers come in. They are there to help give the sound stage depth. They also usually play the sound track music with the front L and R speakers, since the soundtrack music isn't coming from a specific location. Think of the last time you watched a movie in a movie theater. You didn't hear all of the sound coming from all directions at once. Instead, you heard the actors voices coming from the screen. You heard soundtrack music coming from everywhere. And you heard different sound effects coming from different locations, sometimes from the left, sometimes from the right, sometimes front, and sometimes rear. This is exactly how your home theater speakers should sound. That's actually why they call them home THEATER systems.
Q:ARENT WORKING!!!whats wrong?everything is plugged in right, i got a new computer but kept my old speakers. my new computer is very much like old onee. but it wont play music!whats wrong?help!everything is plugged in correctly.websites?devices?software?downloads?
Is the speaker plugged in the right hole on the computer? Is the speaker volume turned up? Is the computer volume turned up? Is the outlet the speakers are plugged into fuctional? try that then hit me up,
Q:Every time i listen to music or watch a video on my computer, the speakers will suddenly make a loud noise and cut out any other audio. Its hard to explain the sound it makes but it sounds kind of like a choppy horn going. It only lasts for a split second, but no matter what i do, how loud it is, it will keep doing this, around every 10 seconds or so. I know for a fact that it is not because of the speakers.(it happend with my last ones too) Also, im not sure if this is the same problem or not, but i cant watch any videos using Windows Media Player. It will show the video but it will be all lines through it and distorted. Any help on fixing my problem would be great. Thanks.
Buy new speakers. or in the bottom right corner of your computer click the picture of a speaker and ajust it you could have just blew your speaker
Q:I have a clarion deck and four factory speakers( two 5 1/2s and two 4x6s). When i start my truck the speakers work just fine, but at random times they will just stop working, but my stereo doesn't shut off, just the sound does from the speakers. I went to aspen sound and they said it was a blown speaker, which sounds right because one of my speakers sounds fuzzy and unclear. But i don't get how the speakers will sometimes work for a couple of days without shutting off and then sometimes only a couple of seconds. So i think it would be a bad connection or pinched wire behind the deck. It just doesnt make any sense that it would be a blown speaker if the sound shuts off when i slam the door or hit a speed bump. What do you think?
sounds such as you have a loose connection. must be the two a floor cord, or known. The motor vehicle would not unavoidably could desire to hit a bump, the two, in case you have a undesirable/intermittent floor, this is going to circulate out while it sounds like it. you could desire to learn all your connections. it must be a pinched cord besides. simplest way is to discover the harness to the radio or deck, the place each and every of the connections are, and with the radio on, jiggle them gently separately, see if any shrink-out happens. if no longer, perhaps slightly harder. then examine your speaker floor connections. in the adventure that your audio equipment are not securely bolted in, they won't have a reliable floor ( no longer purely the wires ). considering you have ability to the deck, does no longer recommend the speaker connections by way of it are stable, the two.
Q:I have a small house in which case I would want 5 speaker surround in the living room, a speaker in the master bedroom, a speaker in the guest bedroom, and a speaker outside on my deck. What is the best way to accomplish this? Best Buy says that you basically can't do it with the recievers that they sell, but that can't be right, is it?
Use Sennheiser wireless headphones and walk all over the place with constant sound.
Q:Does anybody have these speakers, what are they like
Brice is right. Redo the sound card drivers yet first, bypass into the audio output for the sound card and make advantageous that the speaker ports are enabled. basic to envision. Plug audio gadget into the headphone jack. in the event that they paintings, then it is your project.
Q:i have a hp pavilion f1703 if that helps.and harman/kardon speakers too.does anyone know why theyre not working
have they ever worked? if not you probably have them hooked up wrong. and if they did at one time work then you might have blown a fuse or the speakers themselves.
Q:I already have an amp for some PA speakers but I blew the speakers. I'm trying to decide if I should sell the amp and buy 2 powered PA speakers or if I should just get some passive PA speakers and use the current amp.
If you want cheap, some great used speakers can be bought on OKorder, reliable makes like Peavey and Yamaha are good quality and reliable, it's possible even to buy a whole big old PA system very cheap if you wait for it to come up locally. A good quality used speaker will knock the socks off a cheap new one, and can be twice as loud or more for the same wattage input. A cheap active speaker is more likely to let you down when the amp dies. Whichever type you decide to get, quality used will win hands down over cheap new gear.
Q:i was watching music videos on youtube and all of a sudden my speakers stopped working. I could hear only a low bass voice coming from the woofers. i can hear the song but only from the woofer. i don't know how this is possible. i can feel the sound waves coming from the woofer and can hear a low sound and i cannot hear from the 2 speakers i have. the speakers are connected and checked it twice. the volume isn't low. I don't hear any treble. just bass and no sound from the speakers. i haven't had this problem before. can anyone hep me?does this have anything to do with the sound card?cos i have had trouble with that before and all the sound from the computer would stop. can anyone help me please?thank you
Are the speakers 2-way (seperate tweeter woofer) with a seperate subwoofer? or one full range speaker with subwoofer? it could be the crossover (capacitor etc) in speaker system has blown or it could be your PC sound card has given up. Try another set of speakers or try disconnecting speakers from PC (usually 3.5mm stereo phono plug) connect to Ipod or MP3 player direct see if it sounds right.
