- Any computer speaker will work, i personally like the bose or kplisch edit Normal house speakers are a bad idea as most are not magnetically shielded and may cause issues with laptop

- May 3.5 mm earphone connectors nowadays have 3 wires 1 is the ground and the other 2 atre the left and right channel for the speakersspeakers so what you need to do it connect both speaker grounds to the earphone ground and then the left speaker gets the left wire and then the right one gets the right. This will let you connect the speakers to the computer BUT!!!! most pc sound system s are low signal, meaning they don;t have power to drive speakers over 8ohm better yet would be to make or purchase a cable with the earphone on one end and the rca type plugs on it on the other this would let you connect the pc to the AUX or phono port on a stereo , do that and you got full stereo sound from what ever is playing on the pc, games , music, videos, ect
- Q:I have a radio but the only way to hook up speakers is through speaker wire, there's no rca hook ups or anything else except plugging in speaker wire. I just got another set of speakers but they plug in through a standard 3.5 mm jack. I have some speaker wire too. I just need to figure out how to convert the 3.5 jack into wire so it can plug into my radio. I'd spend $10 but not much more to get a converter or somethingany ideas are welcome - thanks
- alpine cd + jbl amp + kappas + alpine amp + jl sub sound like a winner to me, yet while u blast ur music u gets some distortion particularly if its heavey steel music with lots of loud electric powered guitar noise. A small tip tho: ur benefit administration point on the JBL amp might desire to be adjusted like this:: turn that time each and each of ways down, and ur stereo volume each and each of ways up. then turn the point administration on the amp up little via little till u hear ur audio device distorting, at that element circulate back a notch and circulate away it at that placing.

- You seem to have gotten some speakers from a distributed sound system from an office or building. These speakers each need a 70V transformer, and of course you need a 70V amp to drive them. When hooked up properly there are only two wires that go to each transformer in parallel (I.E. plus to plus and minus to minus). Odds are those speakers are not good enough to use for music. I would strongly suggest you get 2 or 5 (depending on your source) decent speakers and sell what you have on OKorder.

- Yes and no. I have heard in ceiling speakers used for rear channel in several displays and homes. It sounds fine until you have some effect that is clearly supposed to be coming from ground level. There is a scene in Gladiator in which an army on horseback comes from the rear channel to the front. With in ceiling rears it sounds like the horses are coming down out of the sky. That said, some people's rooms are such that only in ceiling speakers are really practical for their surround sound set up. In such a case I would not hesitate to go with the in ceiling speakers.
