Maintainance guide:

Make sure that you regulaly clean the wood floors in order to prevent dust accumulation. We recommand to clean a small part

of stains as a testing ground to prevent too much chromatic aberration.

Dust and stain— use a hard brush dipped in warm soapy water to remove it.

Mildew— scrub with ordinary wood mode class agents, or bleach to rinse or wipe it directly.

Chalk stains—In addition to the while chalk, other colors can not be removed, you can use bleaching agent with hot soapy

water to wash it.

Ice or snow—Apply calcium chloride or rock salt, it can melt ice or snow, then use hot soapy water to wash it.

Stain soil and dirts— Apply detergent, which contains oxalic acid or phosphoric acid. Whiping the stain for 10-15 mins.

Greasy and oil-based stains—immediately use household cleaning products with hot soapy water to wash it.

Juice and wine stains—Mixed the bleach stain agent and hot soapy water to dilute the stain and wipe.

Q:Floor leather can not be laid on the floor tiles
Can, floor tiles on the carpet, wood flooring will be. Tile hardness is high, the key is not to rotten tiles, or paved.
Q:what are pergo floors?
A sad excuse for wood flooring. Yes, they are an inexpensive means of achieving the hardwood look but, they will not wear the same way. You especially DO NOT want them in any area with the possibility of water exposure.
Q:how do you solve an equation with the floor function?
The floor function maps a range of numbers into a single function. So there are infinitely many solutions. You could solve it as an inequality. 16=floor((100*floor(.15*X))/86) means 16 <= 100*floor(.15*X))/86 < 17 Rearrange those inequalities to isolate floor(.15*X). Then on each side you'll once again have a range of values for .15*X. Edit: 16*0.86 <= floor(.15*X) < 17*0.86 13.76 <= floor(.15*X) < 14.62 But because floor is an integer, that means that floor(15*X) has to be 14. It's possible I might have gotten a range of integers at this point. floor(.15*X) = 14 14 <= .15*X < 15
Q:Show that floor(5*x) <= 4 + 5*floor(x)?
floor(x) is x rounded down to the next integer. So floor(8.3) = 8, floor(-4.6) = -5, floor(11) = 11. Let x = d + r, where d is an integer and r is a decimal with 0 <= r < 1. floor(5*x) = floor(5d + 5r) = 5d + floor(5r) <= 5d + 4 = 4 + 5*floor(d) <= 4 + 5*floor(x). EDIT I had a typo above when defining d and r, it is now correct.
Q:How to fix a sagging floor?
How To Fix Sagging Floors
Q:75 gallon tank in 2nd floor apt.?
A 75 gallon, filled, with a stand and all the substrate as well is going to weigh roughly 700-750 lbs. Now if your stand is a basic iron stand or metal stand, it will have 4 legs that are in contact with your floor. This divided by 4 is the approximate lbs/ per square inch of force exerted on the floor surface. Now if you have one of those wooden stands, you have a much larger surface area in contact with the floor, and thus, you have a lower lb per square inch of force on the floor. This leads me into asking, what is your floor surface? If that is a tiled floor, I highly reccomend putting a sheet of plywood down, about 1/2 to 3/4 thick to spread your surface area contact out, and thus lowering your lbs per square inch on the floor. If you have a carpeted floor, you wouldn't have to worry about the damage to the surface as much. I've asked a similar question before I set up my 180 gallon tank in the second floor. Basically, if you are concerned about structural integrity, then position your tank along a load bearing wall. A load bearing wall is any main wall in the place, such as a wall that is connected to the outside of the building. These floors carry greater ability to hold higher weights. If you are still worried about the weight, put plywood again, down under the tank stand. This will disribute the weight going across the floor surface. I have a 180 gallon tank on the second floor, going on five months now. I double sheeted the plywood and no problems at all.
Q:Why is the floor arch? How to handle the arch?
Floor from the arch reasons: 1, the floor was blisters, the floor volume increases, causing arch. 2, when the laying of the dry season, the old man was the tomb of the fat? Was fat to let the pack to protect the darling of the bite of the body was still strider Tu Tu smear vinegar Ao 簦 薮 薮 ρ 欤 蚨 蚨 ? Quail ah 3, the wall and the floor between the left did not stretch or stay too small, the floor is dry, moisture content is too low. 1, in case of arch, should first remove the skirting board, and in the arched with a large electric arc saw saw a knife, so that it is not because of continued expansion and then arch, and then observe a day or two, If it is no longer arched, replace the floor with the floor into a new floor. 2, if the arched serious, remove the skirting board Watshao off the shop broken off the water, the old floor, resurfacing, in the demolition, the floor surface damage, should be replaced by a new floor. 3, from the skirting board, once again reserved expansion joints; in the room and the room connection to install the buckle; re-install the baseboard, clean up the plaster, putty and other reserved expansion joints; from the floor, re-installed; Floor, ground treatment is flat, dry and then paved.
Q:Is underlayment needed for laminate floors?
No, you may not omit the underlayment. Laminate floors are designed to float freely. If you do not install the underlayment for the laminate to float on the movement of the floor could be impeded and the floor could buckle or peak. Underlayment is very inexpensive. Upgraded foam will help to control a hollow clacking sound under the floor. At least get the cheap foam but I recommend the upgraded foam for acoustics. Unless you plan to invest in some serious coverage in area rugs. Also remember not to permanently attach anything to the floor or again the movement could be restricted. All laminate floors require a 1/4 gap around the perimeter of the whole floor including at the transitions. If you don't the floor will expand and the seams will peak or lift. Install quarter round to your existing baseboard to cover the 1/4 gap. In wet areas like the floor in front of the sink be sure to lay a bead of silicone in the gap to prevent moisture from getting in the core or under the floor. Good luck with your project I hope it helps, Jen
Q:Creaky Floor any fix ?
sprinkle talc powder, let sit (make sure it gets in cracks) sweep up and you should be good.
Q:what is the best wearing bambo flooring?
The company is local to where I live, so I don't know it's availabilty if you live outside the Bay Area. If you are going the DIY route I STRONGLY recommend getting the floating/click installation versus the glue down/nail down product. The floating stuff does cost more (for example, usually starts at about a $1 more a sqaure foot), but renting nailing equipment and buying adhesive is also expensive. We spent about $300 on flooring glue (Bostik's Best) for a 210 sq. foot room. In comparison, foam padding and plastic sheeting for a floating floor of the same size would be around $70. The floating (engineered) pieces are also about 3X the size of the hardwood planks, so that really works out to be about half the time cutting and laying the product. If you are putting bamboo in the kitchen area, you may want to consider a laminate that has a bamboo pattern due to water damage potential. I don't think hardwood is really recommended in the kitchen/bathroom areas. If you are looking for a sustainable option for the kitchen, Forbo Marmoleum(natural linoluem, versus the vinyl sheeting that most homes have) is plant based and carries something like a 40 year warranty. The prices tend to be $4-$6 a square foot, so comparable to bamboo . I recently saw that Armstrong carries a natural linoleum product that I think is suitable for kitchens. I think their website says that is available at Home Depot and Lowe's, among other places.
