It is a 20 or, 24 pin connector. Usually along the edge opposite the external connections for the motherboard. Even then there are some hard drives that don't take it. Usually, a hard drive comes with the cable/strip included in the box.

They sell them on newegg. You wont be able to buy a 6pin cable unless your power supply is modual meaning you can disconnect the wires from the PSU. Most power supply's you cant do this and the ones that do cost extra.
