- Q:Hi,I have a second-hand Antec NeoHE 550 power supply and I'd like to find a cable for it. I can't seem to find it on the Internet though.The cable is pictured here (the second from the left)On one end it has a 6-pin PSU connector and on the other end, it's a *female* 4-pin Molex connector. - The adapter must have two of the four pin Molex connectors. It uses three of the wires, in the four pin Molex connector. (3 wires x 2=One 6 pin PCI-Express power connector)
- Q:I have a power adapter that changes the tip of a power cable from the US standard to the Spain standard. My laptop has 3 prongs and the adapter accepts 2. It fits into it, but the 3rd prong just rests outside. I know the voltage over there is twice as strong, so will this work correctly?
- i hope to goodness this is not just a gimmick that changes from round plugs to flat plugs...make sure it down-steps the voltage too!!! but otherwise, yeah. the third prong is not essential in any country, it's just a safety feature - many homes in the US even don't have it. my one friend installed fake electrical sockets that have the hole for the third prong (but the hole is not connected to anything) and her laptops work fine.

- It really depends on the what the connector is. If it is a 8 Pin CPU cable, it is a definite no no. However, if it is a 8-pin PCIe cable, then you are safe to plug it in your GPU. However, keep in mind one rule, never force a plug into pins that do not fit.

- It's an ordinary 3-pin PC power cable. Any desktop, screen or printer should use one. If you don't have one, you should be able to easily find one for ?5.

- always go with the 4 gauge...u dont need to go any bigger like 2 or 0 gauge unless u just want to....alot of people say to go 2 gauge or 0 gauge when u add more power but look at ur powerline to ur house...its 4 guage and it generates 10x the current ur car will.....

- Q:Hey! I bought a new sound system for my truck including 4 new speakers, a sub, a 5-channel amp, and I'm running all new wiring. So far I've got the 3 RCA cables ran, along with the blue remote turn-on wire along the right side of my truck. - Well....That is determined by how colossal the amp is. An extension wire has either 2 or three wires inside of at someplace between sixteen and 12 gauge wire. You could twist the entire conductors together and be excellent up to about 40 amps with three 12 gauge wires. The quandary with amplifiers is current no longer voltage. The thicker the wire the more present it will handle. Most any wire you purchase is rated as a minimum 120V. Check what dimension fuse the amp requires, whether it is more than 30 to forty amps i would purchase the correct size single wire for the amp. Also, fuse the wire at the battery. Fire is just not our pal. :)
