- Q:I have vtech 5.8 phones that you plug in to the electric socket. It is also connect to the internet. So if the power goes out so does the phone. What phone can you get the will work if the power and cable goes out
- You need either 1. A conventional land-line WITH a CORDED phone. If it's not corded, you need a wireless phone with a battery-powered base 2. If you use VOIP (internet-based phone) you should look into a service provider that gives you a modem with a battery. But really, unless you use a regular land-line with a corded phone, you are relying on batteries which need replacing (even the rechargeable ones) plus it's difficult (not impossible) for 911 calls to automatically be traced to your location.
- Q:I have an IVI Checkmate receipt printer, but do not have a power cable for it. Where can I get a power cable for this receipt printer?
- Hi.. I think for all your power cable and cable accessories requirement this site can be helpful
- Q:I want to buy a 2nd power cable for a 22Hanns-G PC monitor (hg221a) but do not know what or where to buy one - any pointers
- Outdated CPU, awful video card. Expect to run everything recent on low, and not comfortably. Also, this is obviously prebuilt, and there's no mention of a wifi card or usb wifi dongle so without either, no you cannot do wifi with this computer. As for supporting the monitor, the video card has connectors for VGA and DVI, and most old and modern monitors have those connectors and wires for it so you should be fine monitor-wise.
- Q:Will the YJV22-0.6 / 1KV5 * 10 (cable or wire model specifications) Will this model represents what cable diameter
- GB-2002 provides: metal cable bridge and its bracket and the introduction or extraction of metal cable ducts must be ground (PE) or zero (PEN) is reliable, and must meet the following requirements:
- Q:This is a self built computer. When using it in a different room, it functioned normally. However, now that I've moved it to a new room, it would constantly reboot or just loses power entirely. With the latter, I would have to remove the power cable and hold the on button for a while before I could turn it back on. Also, when I shut it down, the computer would reboot by itself instead.
- Most of times the issue should be occurring because some problem related to power. Do easier things first. 1. Use another power cable. 2. Get an extension form different wall plug and power your PC through it. 3. Bring the PC into previous room and try. When using it in a different room, it functioned normally. However, now that I've moved it to a new room, it would constantly reboot or just loses power entirely According to your above saying, I can guess something like this also, If the computer had faced to some shock while you're changing rooms, sometimes, these is a chance to occur these kind of problems because a shock can produce a loose connection. Remove the causing and check all the connections inside CPU such as Power, RAMS, Processor....... and all it's possible.
- Q:I CAN'T AFFORD A NEW POWER SUPPLY CABLE/ADAPTER AT THE MOMENT.CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE.
- i don't think so. at a previous job a while back we were missing the power pack for a camera we had and tried charging it while uploading pictures from the camera to the computer. it wouldn't charge. i think this is quite stupid bcuz i know power can be transferred from the computer to outside sources. maybe sony does. i can't remember the brand of camera we had at that time.
- Q:I just finished building my shed, I put a 1 1/2 inch conduit under the shed coming up into the corner. I am now about to dig the 65 foot trench back to the house. I need to run power, not a problem. I want to run a phone line, a network cable, and a cable wire for my satellite. I say shed but it is 12 by 20 feet with an attic. Can I run these additional lines in with the power. I was thinking about using a run of Shielded cables for the network and one for the phone. For the cable some heavy duty quot;I don't know what thoughquot;. Will the power lines mess the data up on them? What will work for the three if any. If I need to I could run them in a new conduit, but that is not cheap!
- Run the conduit all the way to the house, put the LV cables in it, Run the power in a separate metal conduit. If you do not wish to do it this way, dig a second ditch at least 3 feet deep and at least 4 feet away to separate the cable types. If they are close to each other, the power will induce a signal on the LV cables that will be a nuisance at least. If they must be close, have them cross at right angles.
- Q:I am installing a sound system in my car straight from scratch. I have built the subwoofer enclosure but now I have run into a problem. The existing amplifier power cable is too short to reach my amp. I was wondering if any other cable could be used as a substitute to extend it just a few more inches or do I need to buy a whole new amp kit? Thanks
- i don't recommend splicing the cable jointly, becuase they are able to alter into loose inflicting a short interior the relationship and injury your kit. The maximum secure difficulty to do could be purchase new cable. in case you're set on splicing, do not use tape. you may bypass to a ironmongery shop and %. up a twine splicing kit with the device and connectors for little or no funds, yet be sure you employ the right length connector for the gauge of twine you have.
- Q:I used my laptop as a home computer, most of the time I keep my laptop turned on with the power cable plugged in. Is it good to do that? or is it better to plug the power off whenever the laptop's battery is full? Which one is good for my laptop' maintenance? By the way, everytime I asked this question, people give different answers. So I really need a professional opinion.
- Use your laptop as you would a mobile phone. Have it fully charged, then run it until it's almost flat. Once again, the battery does have a memory, as said by another person. and also if it's continuously left in power it can also cook the battery cells so when you unplug from power you may have 5 mins of battery life if that. Ammil makes a good point, however if you asking maintenance wise, his response isn't relevant as he refers to Performance more than anything.
- Q:I am looking to replace a broken power cable for my DigiTech RP1000 guitar effects board, but I am curious as to whether I need to find a cable specifically for this device, or if I can look up any cable with an output of 9V AC; 1.3 Amps.
- Flexible cables for use at low voltage e.g. for mains adaptors and speakers, are probably good for at least 100 volts. They are usually rated for current, and are well over-engineered, so anything rated from 1 amp up will work fine. I wouldn't use a cable rated for more than, say 3 amps because there will be more chance of a thicker cable shorting out in the plug - there isn't a lot of space between the terminals.
