(:thank you: Good ol' WalMart has futons for about that price range. But a word of advice: If it is going to get frequent use, get a wooden one, not a metal one. I bought the metal one, and the base only lasted about a year because prolonged sitting and sleeping on it bent the rods under the mattress. It got so uncomfortable I had to toss it and got a twin bed instead. I put a board about 2 feet wide by 6 feet long inside one end of the futon mattress so it could become a backrest, then piled a bunch of throw pillows on it so I could use it as a sofa too. Just dump the throw pillows on the floor, and it's an instant bed.

Q:So my mom is giving me her three person sofa. I'm looking for a website that sells covers for STRAIGHT ARM furniture! Its an ugly green tan color that has yellow gold embroidery(obviously really old). Every time I look up furniture covers, its like all they make is covers for furniture with these rounded arms. Q:my son used to sleep in his bed but some reasons he wont now.he sleeps on sofa we done taken him to bed done all the stories etc,he just wont stay in bed he gets out starts screaming we put him to bed he carrys on,that its upsetting my other son ,he falls asleep on sofa and leave him as we think unfair to upset him and other son,we have tryed so much,we have talked about why he dosent want to sleep.he given us a few reasons.we have reassured him but it dosent work.: Assuming that you are bigger than he is, take him off the sofa and put in his bed, no matter how many times it takes.

Q:I got a velour sofa from my neighbor and it is a cool shape but I hate the color. Aside form covering it with a blanket or reupholstering, is there a way to change the color? It is light biege. Anyone dealt with this before?: Think carefully about buying this, they can be very expensive, not used often and extremely uncomfortable. They are heavy as elephants to move for cleaning and vacuuming as well. We did purchase one when we finally had an extra bedroom that we used as an office with a loveseat (that pulled out). Another option you really might consider is a really good inflatable bed, elevated, with the velour top and slight pillows. We purchased one in queen size on sale for less than $100, it fits in a corner of a closet, has a compressor, inflates in under 5 minutes and is very comfortable. I have a terrible back. When we moved I had to what three months for our furniture in another state and slept on the inflatable bed. It was fabulous? I thought I would have booku back problems but serious did not. This is a really good option, inexpensive, you can use it outside of your home as well, they DO NOT leak (we've had our for ten years) and use regular blankets and sheets. Worth considering.

What other things are in the room- do you have any pictures/art you like that you can pick colors from? Tan generally looks really nice with black (maybe leather), reds, other vibrant but earthy colors. I wouldn't put it with blues, oranges or yellows. whites or greens would be okay, depending on the rest of your room. Also, I recently bought 2 sofa sets- one tan and one green, both microfiber. we had them sprayed with the protectant, but they are still horrible to clean. water leaves more marks than the original stain. I had to call the warranty people to clean them. Just thought you should know if you are considering microfiber, in my case, it hasn't been easy to clean. Good luck!
