I have the opportunity to order the same sofa just one has a sleeper with a $20 difference. My mom swears that the sleeper sofas are terrible to sit on. True?

Some are and some arent. Some will have a bar that is underneath the base of the couch where the cushions lie. Once there is some wear to your furniture then it is possible for that to get a tad uncomfortable. If the cushions are nice and fluffy and the bar is not directly underneath then I would think the sofa bed would be your best bet for the price. I would call and ask the manufacturer about the rod for the bed and make your decision from there.

Q:Couple of months ago I asked about my dogs peeing on sofa. Got several answers back; all said to crate train them, train them to go outside etc. The problem is that they are trained to go outside and they won't pee in their 'crate'. However, I have one sofa that they tend to pee on even if they just came in from outside. They are nearly 18 months old, sisters, and are Chihuahuas. I'm not even sure which one does it! Any suggestions?

Have the dogs been checked by a vet? Ruled out possible urinary tract infection, crystals, etc.? When dogs are eliminating inappropriately, the first thing to do is a vet check-up. They may associate peeing outdoors with pain (from infection, etc.), and try eliminating in other places. It's likely that one dog is doing the peeing on the couch-take a fresh urine sample (less than 24 hours old) from each dog to the vet (marked, of course) for urinalysis.

YES!!!! If you don't let your dog on the sofa that just means you think your dog isn't fun or is a flea bag!! I got a cheap Ikea sofa that has washable covers. The covers are $60 to replace. It's not a big deal to update the sofa and replace stains every year or two. When they grow up, I'm getting leather couches.

Don't worry about matching the sofa with a love seat. If you love the sofa and want to incorporate your wing chair, consider an armless chaise in the same fabric as your sofa, color conducive to the wing chair. If you need the extra seating for occasional parties, then an armless chaise would suffice since it can accommodate 3 people seated lengthwise. If you need the seating for a large family, you may opt for another sofa, facing each to the other, coffee table in the middle (depends on the scale and function of your room).

Q:I have a 5 month Beagle pup, And have never had a problem with him chewing anything other than socks. I have heard stories of them chewing leather sofas, so every time we go out we shut him in the kitchen as we have a leather one, the only time he's allowed in there on his own is if im quickly going to the shop and am only gone for 5 mins, and have always came home to find him just sat on the sofa waiting for me. Q:I'm having this trouble with my 10 month old. She discovered a week ago that she can climb into the sofa. And I can not do anything else but to watch her. Good luck on trying to stop her. My daughter has been doing it for ages and in the last month she has learnt to push one of her walk along toys to where she wants it and climb on it to get stuff of the shelf, if her high chair is near a seat she climbs on the seat and then trys to get on top of her high chair. THe other day she climbed on the table where the TV was and climbed on top of the TV. She knows that she is aloud to climb on the couch but anything else she gets told off and sat on the floor and keep doing until she learns. But she should grow out of that stage soon.
