Q:what color paint would go with the gray sofa like below?
I would go with a COOL GRAY, very light, more white then gray. That sofa has a blue tint, with a subtle gray note. Yes, a much cooler gray would be super, on the accenting wall, go with a dark blue, more of a heated teal. Basically teal with black okay, really dark, rich blue. LOVE IT.
Q:Put in the outdoor, choose what kind of furniture is good
1., just as you choose interior furniture, choose outdoor furniture that matches your taste in life.2. determine the price you can accept based on your income and purchasing power.3. look closely at different outdoor furniture materials to see if they match your garden and Pavilion style.4. use / find an outdoor seat cushion that is resistant to mildew, sun drying and tearing. The internal filler shall be non absorbent and quick drying polyester material.
Q:Ikea has some really neat furniture. However, I'm concerned about comfort. I'm interested in purchasing a sofa and love seat from their website, but I don't want anything that looks cheap or is uncomfortable. Has anyone owned one and can help me out?
Actually I have an Ikea sofa Karlstad in my living room and it's not the most comfortable couch, but I got it because I needed one real bad and at least I can change the color if I want. A couple of people have slept on it without complaints. I have a small place and it works for what I need. My boyfriend hates my couch though-lol. Anyway, it has a warranty on it which is nice and it's not the type of couch that has a slipcover If you want to change it you actually take it apart and it's got these very thick pieces of velcro which are virtually invisible unless you take the couch apart. It never looks raggedy, it's always tight so you would never know by looking at it that you can change it. That part I really like. Knowing that when I get tired of the color I can just go to Ikea and for about $50 I can get a new couch again. It's definitely a practical couch, but it's no Laz-boy or anything. I put a couple of pillows on it and it's pretty comfy for me. I think my boyfriend is just a guy, he likes those big ugly leather chairs that you can kick your feet up on.
Q:I've been looking all over the internet to find some kind of guide or blueprint on how to build a sectional sofa. I want to learn how to build each type of section of a sectional sofa, like the corner piece, middle pieces, and even ottomans. I JUST CAN'T FIND ANYTHING.I'm almost tempted to go to the .. gulp.. library
.
Q:I have recently come into possession of a really good couch. The ONLY problem being is that it has stains on it, and smells a little. Besides that, it's brand spankin' new and in nice condition (no rips or tears) / everything in tact. I've decided to make a project out of this couch, as I know that most of the time, suede can be a b17ch to clean, but honestly, my husband and I don't have the money for a new couch as all of our money is going towards getting a new car. So right now I'm looking at ways to get stains out, make the suede look nicer, if not great, and get rid of the little tangy smell. More than likely, I'll eventually get a slipcover for it, but right now, I'd like it in a decent condition :)
Cleaning suede stains can be a nuisance, but it is possible to remove them using supplies from your home. Here are the tips on how to clean and remove the stains from suede sofa: 1. Scrape up any substance the stain has. If it's chunky or any portion is sitting on the suede, remove as much as you can using your spoon and place it in a trash bag. 2. Dab at the stain on your suede couch using a clean sponge rinsed in cool water. Avoid rubbing as this may spread the stain. 3. Mix equal parts of water and an enzyme laundry detergent in a bowl to create a paste. 4. Use your spatula to apply the paste over the stained area on your suede couch. Allow the paste to sit for 20 to 30 minutes. 5. Remove the paste from the suede couch by scraping it up with your spatula. 6. Saturate a clean cloth with cool water and wring it out. Blot at the area where the paste was to remove your cleaner and any remnants of the stain. Let your suede couch dry completely. 7. Fluff up the nap and fibers of the suede by brushing it with a suede brush.
Q:I had a sofa specially made and a rocking chair covered, it cost me approx ?1,200.The company told me the sofa would last a lifetime, now only after 4 years the sofa is has holes in it where the material has worn away, it only has very light use, and my partner is the only person that sits on it,The rocking chair has had no use at all as it is in my spare room, so whether that will wear in the same way I do not know.I phone the company, and he said he would part re-cover the where it has gone in holes, but the problem is I do not want this as I am sure it will wear away again in a couple of years.Does anyone know my rights in this matter?
Frankly, I don't think you are going to get anywhere with this. I would try to see if they would give you some money instead of recovering the sofa. If you get it recovered, the recovered parts won't match the rest of it. I'd see if they will give you a cash settlement. These kinds of warranties are really not worth much! Ask for cash!
Q:are sofa tables and coffee tables the same? if not whats the difference?
A sofa table is generally a tall long table that is set BEHIND a sofa that stands in the middle of a room (rather than against the wall). They are usually 48 to 72 long, about 30 or 32 tall and maybe 12 deep. A coffee table is a low table that goes in FRONT of the sofa. they can be any shape or size but are usually no higher than the seat of the sofa, about 20 tall.
Q:Spilled white wine on microfiber sofa, and it stinks. What do I do?
* It's safer to have the sofa steam cleaned by a professional. If you DIY, don't use strong cleaning chemicals because you'll damage the fibers.
Q:what are sofa stores in mississauga?
The okorder ) I hope this helps.
Q:They seem very comfortable, but those thin wooden slats and those soft plastic hinges that keep them together don't inspire much trust. Is this a sofa bed only for occasional sleeping and not recommended for other activities(wink)?
It's okay, not great, though. Very firm, so if you like that, good. I would not suggest it for someone who is overweight or has a bad back -- and certainly not for long-term. IKEA's Sultan mattresses are relatively inexpensive, and pretty good, if you're looking for a cheap bedding solution. I wouldn't look at the BEDDINGE as a long-term, every-night bed, though.
