1. Purpose

Seriesreactor is mainly used in compensator with parallel, in series with shuntcapacitor , limited the inrush current of switch on during switching capacitor,check the distortion of voltage waveform, remove damage to capacitor ofharmonic and impulse current. In some network and electrical equipment,connected with series reactor as a current-limiting protection, in order tolimit sudden change of the current.

2. Characteristics

(1) No electromagnetic,no pollution: the reactor is derived from iron core for magnetic circuit, withthe cover for magnetic field shield; there is no electromagnetic pollution onthe environment

(2) Low losses,obvious energy-saving effects, eliminated maintenance.

(3) Small in size,fine appearance

Some of these can be found by doing a Google search for electrician licensing laws in texas or whatever. In most states, having a degree with a major in electrical engineering will not be sufficient to allow you to legally do the work of a licensed electrician. Your degree will give you more knowledge of pure theory than an electrician needs, but doing a degree course will not have taught you how to use tools, how to terminate and install cables, how to select equipment and calculate cable sizes and how to perform inspection and testing procedures. Most importantly, your degree course will not have taught you the National Electrical Code and local codes.

It saves them money when it prevents a system wide brown- or blackout. Load shedding means that the customers participate in a program to shut down some electrical loads in their individual buildings. This might happen whenever the utility grid is in danger of having to produce more electricity than the combined capacity of all the available generating equipment on the system. If there are any costs involved, it might be the lost revenue to the utility from the sales of electricity above the generating capacity or the lost production if one of the customers has to shut down revenue producing equipment.

Q:Hi. I have bought a kiln from Germany which is compatible with our electrical currents here in the UK - that much I know. It is a small kiln and can be used with just ordinary household electric. Q:doesnt it release toxins when heated or burned, also why do they use it in cookware, I thought it's supposed to be some high quality plastic that resist heat and deterioration by chemicals, and isnt it also very expensive, but then you see it used on cookware and a bunch of other cheap crap, for example teflon tape, you can buy it at the 99cents store, it cant be that great if they sell it there.: It does release toxins; however not much is affected by these toxins - except birds.
