He did not clean it properly and now the grout is all over the tiles. its been 1 month the they put the tiles. How can I take grout off the tiles? I got a grout cleaner from Home depot but its not working as it should be. Please advise

- if i was you i would first go to a tile shop ...many shops ..and find the tiles you really like first ..take down their number and batch number ..they vary a lot in shade ..then see if you can get the same on the net ..in my experience ..you can do as well in the shop as on the net ..they are all so easier to deal with if something goes wrong

- Tile won t stain under normal circumstances so I suspect the glaze is a bit worn off rt in front of the fridge.. That can be a wet spot that will dry eventually or stain the tile body in which you have no choice but to r and r the tile(s).. GL
- Q:I‘m installing 13 x 13 cermic tiles. We‘ve laid the tile to try to configure the best layout. However, the one with the best layout with the easiests cuts leaves one very complicated one. The tile lies directly on the air duct, with the cut being a large rectangular hole in the middle of the tile. - If it where on drywall, I would take off the drywall - gut down to the studs. If its on plaster, get a wide chisel and hammer away...Sometimes a 6 drywall knife works to srape off tile then you have some drywall repair- skim coating. Hopefully, for your sake, the tile is on drywall - a newer home...
- Q:I want 12x12 tiles on the floor of the bathroom. But on the countertop (small, less than 6sqt) should I do large tiles, or smaller tiles of a similar style? And for the backsplash, should it be the same as the counter or the floor? Not so good with the design aspect. :)
- All your tile selections should co-ordinate but do not need to match exactly. I like the big tiles on the floor but not on the counters and back splash. The large tile will make those areas seem out of scale. I'd go with a similar tile but in a smaller size on the counter and back splash and see if you can find some accent tile to work into your design of the back splash. All it takes is a band of something like natural stone, glass tile or a textured tile to kick it up a notch and by using the more expensive tile sparingly, you're not increasing your costs but certainly increasing the eye appeal.

- Hi ...we have a problem with 12x12 tile in the living room area that has popped across the room in a line from one wall to the other...the building is 16 years old and the tile has been down that long.....why all of a sudden the tile would pop ...there they are at there is no sun light or temp change since we are in Florida.....WHAT TO DO???
