Q:What is the concept of tiles?
Smick (002162): Is located in Minhang District, Shanghai, the main precision ceramics, building ceramics, the company is Shanghai's local construction ceramics company, combined with the company in the color ceramic and high-grade building ceramics leading position in the next few years the development opportunities better. The company has an independent research institute, specializing in new product technology development and basic research work. Q:how to create a wet bed for tiles?
I m assuming yo mean a mortar bed or a mud bed for tiles. You don t want to do this for later on as you say. You want to lay tiles soon after it s set so you don t ruin the mortar bed by walking on it. This isnt something you usually just do , it takes practice and a bit of experience and is hard work but worth it when done right. A wet bed is a base of cement that the tiles are installed as you go. Old fashion method rarely used anymore. Now a mud bed is used and then a thin set is used to adhere the tile down. If you want to do a mud bed e mail me through my avatar and I ll guide you through it. GL
Q:Help with tiling on walls?
This site should help-
Q:crackling sound under my cermamic tiles?
Hi there, in my opinion to improve, restore, and maintain the appearance of your ceramic tile you have to use the Tenax product because it is designed specifically for treated materials because 2 month before I have got the same problem so I search on a net for ceramic tile I got one which better than the other ceramic tile companies I call them and purchase Tenax product for my ceramic tile when I use it you really don’t believe the sound of crackling in my tile didn’t come by using of Tenax product so from my point of view I prefer the Tenax product so If you were interested visit the website which is given below.
Q:What are the tiles to note? How bad is it?
Look at the material of the product, the surface flatness, the three-dimensional color, the surface finish, the edge is not deformed
Q:Dongpeng tiles and Europe Shennuo which cost-effective
First-line brand: First, the new Pearl Group: mainly in the mid-market positioning, has made the customer's recognition, the Group's crown beads, Samit, Gerees, Jin Chaoyang, Hui million, Louis modern, Monte Carlo, Bentley , And other brands and "Lippo" professional bathroom brand can be an economic brand Second, the Mona Lisa Ceramics: Mona Lisa ceramics, ceramic industry, the leader of thin tile, as long as the mention of the sheet will be remembered Mona Lisa, thin plate of the preferred brand Second, the new source of ceramics, the new Run into, Huiya ceramics, Hongyu ceramics and other medium brands Alas ceramic brand too much, not one by one, you can check the Internet
Q:Can you paint tiled floor?
There okorder.com/ it recommends not using floor tile paint in places such as bathrooms where there is moisture. I guess you could paint the floor a week or two before putting it on the market - a case of buyer beware if it all scrapes off 6 months later - but the paint is quite expensive so I wouldn't personally go down this route myself - as it's not a nice thing to happen for the unsuspecting buyers. I'm guessing that currently the floor is more of an eyesore as you haven't integrated this into your current bathroom design? Personally, I would ditch the painting idea and buy a decent off-cut of lino and cover up the old floor tiles since you only have a small area to work with. Lino nowadays comes in many guises/patterns and since it's a small area you can check all local companies for offcuts of perhaps the more expensive pseudo 'wood' type lino etc... You may spend £50 but it will brighten the room and transform it into a more modern look - and ultimately will help you get your asking price. (You could also tell the buyers that the original green tiles are still underneath and they could reveal them if they wanted to...just don't tell them how ugly they are...the secret is to get them excited about new possibilities in the future!!) LOL Fingers crossed that your house sells quickly in the Spring. xx
Q:what size of tile is better?
Is the tile going to be put on a concrete slab? If not, tile that size might crack with the movement of the floor below. If you use tile, you will need grout. Otherwise dirt and stuff will fill the area between tiles. Slippery tiles? Find a textured tile.
Q:Finding Cermaic Floor Tile patterns?
If you can get one tile to carry as your sample, then check stores that sell tiles. Doubt you will find them. Best bet is take sample to store that specializes in tile; they MAY have outdated tiles in their warehouse. Dig out some from area that could use contrast colors. Use pulled up ones (extra work to 'clean' back of old tiles) and replace the cracked/broken tiles. Use contrasting tiles around visible outside wall border or center of area. Now have 2 different colors but not replacing entire floor.
Q:kitchen floor tile sealant?
Tile Lab, Cerama Seal and Miracle 511 is the 3 main ones I ve used over the years with out a problem. Get one that is a penetrating sealer which can be used on grout as soon as 72 hrs after grouting. But if you truly have a stone and not a glazed product you ll want to seal the tiles before grouting and then 72 hrs after to seal the grout and then seal the grout twice, Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there.
