1. For Glazed Floor Tile, what is the popular size?
—— Now the popular sizes are 30*30mm, 40*40mm, for some special market, we are shipping 50*50mm tile also.
2. Is there a MOQ for each model?
—— Normally the MOQ is one 20’ container. For some special models, whose production could be arranged frequently, 2 or 3 models could be mixed into one container.
3. What is the delivery time after we paid the deposit?
—— Normally we shall get all items ready for loading within 3 weeks after we get the deposit or the formal Letter of Credit?
- Q:I have a couple of tiles that have fell off and need to be put back on, what type glue do you apply to make them stick. They fell off due to foundation problems which is now fixed.
- Depends on the surface that you are attaching to, and what type of tiles you are applying. Use the adhesive sold at the hardware store that is made for that type of tile.
- Q:The 12 by 12 tiles were laid 7 years ago and nothing is different, but last October some of them over by the exterior wall of the house started tenting. There had been no more or less rain. What would make them do this?Here‘s some more info:-They started cracking in the part of the house that was added on.-The new foundation may not have been sealed.-My brother put them down and he tends to do a crappy job at best. He thinks they were cheap tiles.-I found traces of termites when I started pulling them up (seems unrelated since they‘re ceramic tiles, but one never knows...)Any advice on replacing them would be greatly appreciated!
- could be your floor is not level you can test it yourself just get a leveler and test the areas that are cracking. The only other thing I can think of is the termites ate a hole and there is too much moister coming into the house and causing the tiles to crack. I doubt its because of the tiles or the job otherwise something would have happened sooner. But get someone out there to check for termites hope that helps good luck.

- I agree with fearjar. You could tile over tile, but its best to do it right and go back to a solid, clean base that is free of mold and other defects. This gives you a chance to inspect the plumbing (which according to Murphy's law will burst if you don't check it) and will make for a more even installation.
- Q:I have recently glued mosaic (mirrior finish) tiles onto a wall of mine, however I have noticed a few tiles, have almost sorta withered away at the back, it also almost looks as if the mirror backing scraped away, now giving more of a clear look. I would now want to remove some of the tiles out, Would it be advisable to use a chisel and hammer, to chip away the tile, or is there anything I can use to repair the tile.Much Appreciated
- I'm not sure if the tiles are individual, or part of a mat. Either way I wouldn't use a chisel because you could damage the surrounding tiles, you could loosen the backing (mirror finish) of the surrounding tiles, and you could even damage the backing the tile is attached to, especially if it's attached to drywall instead of backerboard. First you want to cut through any grout. You can buy a cheap blade for this, or if you have a dremel tool or something similar, they make inexpensive grout removal tips. If there isn't any grout, you'll need to cut through the webbing if the tiles came attached to each other. You can do this with a knife, box cutter etc... At this point the only thing holding the tile in will be the glue. At this point you can gently use a chisel to break the bond. Hold the chisel upside-down, so the back of the chisel faces you and the angle is against the wall. Some call this paring, basically it allows the chisel to ride across the surface cutting behind the tile. Using it the standard way will cause the chisel to dig into the drywall or backerboard. - Ceramic tile has many uses. The thought of using ceramic tile brings up visions of one of the larger spaces of your home covered with a delightful repeating pattern. - Before concrete-masonry board was even invented, tiles were glued right onto drywall -- even painted drywall. There may be some new-fangled surface prep material you could get for painted drywall -- ask the dudes at Home Depot, Ace, Tru Value, or Lowes (or other hardware / home-improvement store) to see if there is some material you spread on the painted drywall to make the mastick stick better. .
- Q:Our house has Asbestos floor tiles throughout. (I had them tested, and they definitely contain asbestos.)The dilemma: Currently these tiles are covered with carpet. The carpet is old and ugly and needs to be replaced. - Q:I have ceramic tile throughout home and in kitchen around one tile the grout or whatever the stuff is between the tile has crumbled and is getting bigger. Can i seal it myself,with what? or do i need to hire a stud to fix it?
- You can go to the hardware store to get a kit to fix it but, if the cracks are growing or continueing further to other tiles you might have a problem with the underlayment. Fix the area now with a kit and keep a close eye on it. If the cracks come back and or start to show in other places don't waste your time with patching. The underlayment is very critical for tile, it must be flat and secured very well. If not you can get flexing in the floor from movement which will cause cracks.
