- That is a classical Victorian Sofa (with a tufted back) tghey used to be made with horse hair; you will have to do some googling at some specialty sites as these aren't produced in abundance. YOu can find some antique ones as well.
- Q:Sofa is chocolate brown leather, ottoman is a swirly/marble chestnut color. Both pieces have similar legs.
- It depends on how much lighter - you would want a contrast to set the ottoman off better. I would not go with a dark chocolate couch and a caramel ottoman, for example. Instead, opt for a butter yellow or a cream - it would be fabulous!

- Don't buy micro fibre!! we bought a couch and theater seating in micro fibre. we went in to buy leather and were talked into micro.What they didn't tell us until two years later was that jeans are really hard on the fabric. REALLY hard.Now the front of the couch is worn and shiny.They said it was easy to clean but its not. If you plan to have company over alot, it won't stand up. Plus the warranty is VERY limited,Shop around don't buy the first thing you see.go for quality check your warrantycarefully.If you are looking for a cheap fix look in the paper for a used sofa you can slipcover.Cause once you find a girlfriend/wife, she'll make you buy new furniture anyway. - Well, sofa beds aren't really meant for everyday use, it's pretty much only for guests. If you have room, you might try a water bed, as long as you keep pointy things away from it and are able to hook up a water hose to a convenient place. Air beds aren't much different from mattresses, and when I tried one, it lasted maybe a year before getting a leak somewhere and had to be re inflated every day. Futons are fairly flat, so if you like a lot of cush, they may not do it for you, though they do save space, thus the use of them in Japan.

I had to do this with my sheers in my living room. My cat thinks they are play in...
