Q:I have been researching EV cars and conversions and am wondering about using a generator instead of batteries. I am not an enviro-nut concerned about making an emission free vehicle, just one that is cheap to drive. It seems to me that using a generator to power the motor, although it would use gas, would be way more efficient than a normal gas engine that is in a car, and would be lighter than batteries. Also, if it is a diesel generator I could run bio-diesel to cut back on emissions. Am I correct in this assumption?

If the unit is rated 8000 VA, and the output is 6400 W. that hints that the through-put efficiency is about 80%. You need a generator that will supply at least 125% of the load you apply to the UPS.

Check for its voltage rating. The meter should be rated the same as the voltage rating of the line being measured. It could be used also for vhf and uhf frequency, digital or analog. This not so much grammar as style and choice of words, but anyway here goes: This implies that all (or almost) all of the Esson customs who require an uninterrupted power supply for their appliances use emergency Diesel generators to insure this. You don't have to add to insure this, but it sounds better. Please note that several of the words you had in the original dont have the right meanings or sound unnatural, which is why I changed them. F.ex., in English 'to dispose' means to 'get rid of, to remove, to throw away, to sell', where you mean the opposite, 'to have'!!!
