Q:Laundry: What type of vinyl flooring?
I would go with linoleum, as the tiles don't stick to painted surfaces. Linoleum will require a laminate board underneath.
Q:How to paint the wood floor
You can use Bili beads can also use the white ah as long as you like ah ah can ah
Q:Laminate Flooring Cleaning?
Laminate floors are very low maintenance. Ironically, if you use a lot of cleaning products on them, they will actually look worse...they will get smudges and streaks. And never use steam on laminate...steam can absolutely ruin laminate floors. It can cause warping and even cause the veneer to peel right off. Having said this, exactly how do you maintain a laminate floor? Mostly just by vacuuming it as needed. When you need more than a vacuuming, use a microfiber mop and plain old water. No cleanser, no vinegar, no nothing...just water. Let the mop do the work. Microfiber is fantastic at removing dirt and streaks and doesn't need a cleanser to help. Wet the mop and use it. No need to dry the floor, but also don't let water pool on the floor. You want a good damp mop, but not puddles of water. (Streaks of water are ok.) If you don't already have a microfiber mop, you can buy them at Walmart, Target, Kmart, Home Depot, and even Dollar General. I've never used anything but a vacuum and a microfiber mop (plus water) on our laminate floors and they still look fantastic after all these years. Hope this helps. -
Q:Asked the World of Warcraft settings: how to cancel the right to the destination settings
Click the ESC selection interface. Here is a mouse that seems to set up inside the right to move on the line!
Q:Laminet flooring?/floating floor?
Laminate flooring is easy to install and you really can't screw it up when putting it down, at least not to make it look like you described. I would do some research of cost and quality before you make any other home improvement purchases.
Q:What are the raw materials needed for making floor tiles?
Ceramic tiles are tiles, tiles and glazed tiles. One is made of clay and the other is made of clay. Bentonite is a water-containing clay mineral based on montmorillonite. The chemical composition of montmorillonite is: (Al2, Mg3) [Si4O10] [OH] 2 ?? nH2O, because it has a special nature. Bentonite as one of the raw materials, the use of traditional production technology to produce tiles billet, the amount of little, the study, such as the use of high purity, large plastic bentonite, switch to dry method, the proportion of the blank can be mixed with 15 to 20% It is possible to increase the fluidity of the mud by adding a set of raw materials to increase the fluidity of the mud. The tiles can be used to determine the flexural strength and thermal expansion and contraction coefficient to test whether the performance of the brick meets the standard requirements. The
Q:What's the difference from a 1st floor apartment to a 2nd floor apartment?
major disadvantage stairs. advantage nobody above you.
Q:Radiant in-floor heating?
so the radiant heat is in the concrete slab correct? if yes then i would take up the wood flooring, alot of work but will be worth it. I would think you would have a big heat lost leaving the wood floor on, plus how thick the floor would be after putting tile on top of it. To get the glue off try heating it with a large torch if you have access to one or if you know a plumber. I did this taking up a linoleum floor and it came right up easily. heat the glue just until it gets soft then with a scraper or wide putty knife it should come up. are you doing the tile floor yourself? unless are good at it don't you will want to make sure the floor is prep the right way or you will have problems later. plus if you have a tile guy do it you will have a warranty with the job------------good luck with it
Q:uneven floor?
You need to float the floor to make it flat. Do NOT use extra adhesive. It will never dry and will come up between the tiles for years. Use any good brand of float, Henry has one. Sand after it drys for a completely smooth floor. A pro installer will spend MORE time with the prep than the installing.
Q:How to ceramic tile a floor?
After you strip the floor you will need to make your it is sound and secure. You need a smooth clean surface. For a bathroom you need dura roc or hardie backer as an underlayment. You will need to do a dry setting of the tiles. That means lay the tiles out to figure the best pattern and get an idea as to space etc. once you know how you want the tiles laid start cutting. You will need a mastic/thinset to set the tiles...whichever one you choose just follow directions. The directions will tell you what size trial you will need to spread the mastic/thin set. as you set the tiles insert spacers they come in different sizes. after all the tiles are set, let sit for 24 hrs. clean out any grout lines and remove the spacers. now you are ready to grout. grout comes in different colors and there is a sanded grout and a non sanded. When you buy the tile ask the sales person which grout you need for that tile, sanded or non sanded. some tiles will scratch with sanded tile. follow directions on the grout. make sure you wipe of any clumps of grout or it may not come off. lightly wipe extra grout as your grouting. there will be a haze over the tiles. you can wipe over the tile very lightly every few hours.
