Q:how do i level my floors?
start by removing all of your finish flooring and sub flooring. locate your highest point in the room. easiest way to do this is with a laser line level. you can set it up about 12-24 inches from your joists the measure up from tops of each joist in a few spots. once you determine the high point you will have to sister in new joist to the existing ones at this height using the laser line(you can also string lines if laser is not available. much more work) i would recommend using an adhesive like pl-400 and using deck screws to fasten your new joists. pl will prevent squeaks and screws are great fasteners for more accurate leveling. easier to back a screw out than pull a nail!!. so make a material list and get started!!! basically you will need same linear footage as you have already in your floor. make sure also your height will not become a problem with existing doors. Honestly unless you are putting a pool table in this room i dont see any reason to make a room perfectly level. its alot of work. i know this from many years of renovations Goodluck!!! if you have any other questions throught this process i can help you further just mail me !!!!
Q:Type of metal flooring?
I recognize the pattern, I sell that pattern in a 3'X3' rubber sheet, the solid rubber is used in dangerous locations because it does not conduct electricity. The 3'X3' rubber sheets fit together exactly with a very unique glue. Yes I have seen the same pattern in metal, but now you are getting into pricey flooring material, the solid rubber is around $5.00 a square foot and the metal flooring would probably come from a metal fabricating shop. Whatever you taste is, you are approaching into commercial flooring, flooring that is used in auto garages, factories, banks etc...
Q:How to calculate the general loss of the installation of wood flooring?
The common specifications of the floor are 900 * 90 * 18mm, 750 * 90 * 18mm, 600 * 90 * 18mm rough calculation method: room area ÷ 0.228 * 1.05 = floor block length 5m, width 3m room as an example: room length 5m ÷ plate length 1.2m = 5 pieces of room width 3m ÷ plate width 0.19m = 16 blocks long 5 blocks * wide 16 blocks = 80 pieces with the total plate Description: composite wood flooring in the pavement often 3% -5% Loss, if the area to calculate, do not ignore this part of the amount. It usually uses a soft floor mat to increase flexibility and reduce noise, which is roughly the same as the floor area.
Q:discontinued sykes flooring?
You should check OKorder. They have so many different sitings in the flooring category. If you have a stock number that you can refer to it would be even better. If you can, go to your local Hardware Store. They may be able to locate the flooring or match your sample for you.
Q:How to fix a very unlevel floor?
wow really? 6 over 4'? that's a LOT! well there's a few things you can do the 1st and probably best starts below the floor. you'll need a jack post with screw assembly maybe 2 and a 2x4 or something that'll mount to the plate on top. floor unlevelness is usually caused by sinking (which usually is because something supportive was removed) if this is the case then go down below and crank it up like a spiral automotive jack the jack posts will move the floor up you then need to put a 4x4, beam spanning to support walls or a new support wall. jack it up till it's level measure and cut 4x4 or wall or w/e and put it in place. your favorite lumberyard should be able to help you out with beam rating if you decide to go that route. the other way to do this is really just a patch you'd need to get some plywood and patch in several layers in pieces till it's up to about where you need to be floor sand each time then cover with floor leveler compound before flooring back over it. again that's just a patch and if it sinks further then it'll need to be repaired again. this MIGHT be a pretty big task for a diy'er but if you want further instruction don't be afraid to ask someone at a small lumberyard. (not a box they're usually just college kids who don't know anything you can try but i wouldn't recommend it)
Q:Are floor functions always discontinous?
Floor functions don't have removable discontinuities, they have jump discontinuities. If you're referring to the greatest integer function, ⌊x⌋, that would be a floor function, which is closed on the left, open on the right [a, a+1), { a | a ∈ ℤ }
Q:dog keeps slipping on floors?
Try trimming the fur on her feet, between her toes and between her toe pads. That should help. I use a mustache scissor to get in there good to remove the hair.
Q:What types of floor shouldn't you dance on when doing ballet?
no, some excersises require brushing (sliding) and carpet will not let you do that. Sorry
Q:how do i lay 3 part epoxy resin floor?
Normally an epoxy resin floor is 2 part epoxy with a third component is color flacks that are hand spread over the resin as it is spread on the floor.. I am assuming you are going to apply this to a concrete floor. Mix the resin according to the instructions on the box or container it comes in. Follow all instructions that come with the product relative preparing the floor, such as cleaning up dirt and grease. once the resin is mixed in a large enough sized container. You may want to apply the resin around the outside edges of the floor about 5 or 6 inches with a throw away brush. spread the resin on the rest of the floor with a paint rollers. Do relatively small sections at a time and sprinkle the color flakes over each section as though you were broadcasting grass seed or ice melt. You will probably find that you will need 2 coats of the resin to cover the floor well.
Q:Why alcohol spread to the wood floor will be traces, how to solve
With a good napkin on the floor and then iron iron, the wax melted after the adsorption to the paper towel to try or wipe with a dry towel, and then wipe a few wet towel.
With advanced production equipment, the company produce a variety of medium-class and high-class lamiante floor and accessories.
