Q:stanley steemer carpet cleaning?
Used them many times and they are very reasonably priced. If you aren't moving your furniture (which we didn't) make sure they put everything up on blocks so as not to stain the carpets until they dry. It's a normal procedure for them but they can mess up and your wood or fabric that touches the wet carpet will stain it. When they are done your carpets should only be damp and not wet to the touch. If they are wet don't let them leave until the carpets are only damp. Stanley Steemer is a franchise operation so not all franchises are great. I use them for a whole house cleaning but use my own steam cleaner much more often. I have saved a lot of money by owning my own steam cleaning machine which is a Bissell. I can keep up on carpet cleaning routinely as opposed to waiting until the carpets are in dire need. I would recommend after you use Stanley to buy your own cleaner.
Q:How do I salvage soaked carpet?
First get a good fungicide or other type of product to hinder growth. Just spray the product on the carpet: it's easier. You will have to rent a large fan like the damage restoration places have. The carpet will need to be pulled up where lots of air can get under. Put the carpet up on saw horses or something else to ensure air access. You need to replace padding so it's good you got rid of it! Good luck. Find out why the water came it to prevent it from happening again too! :)
Q:How do you remove fabric dye from carpet?
Your only option is to clip those fiber. Dye is permanent
Q:What's the best way to get nail polish stains out of a carpet?
Sometimes you can just cut nail polish off carpet with scissors. Often the polish is just on the tips of the carpet fibers and you can just snip these right off. If you pull up while snipping, you're less likely to get a divot in the carpet. However, if you have used nail polish remover on the stain, it's possible you've worked the nail polish down into the carpet. If this is the case, I don't think there is much you can do to remove the nail polish. Good luck. -
Q:Can anyone suggest a cheap 5x8 or larger rug that would look good with chocolate-brown carpet?
If you are looking for one that is new but inexpensive, check your local family dollar. They usually have quite a few to choose from and, at least here in PA, they are $20 or under. If you are looking for color suggestions, you may want to find a print with another color(s) you like in it that has just a little chocolate brown to bring all the colors together...then use the 'other' colors for planning the rest of your decor to play down the brown. As far as the bathroom, start with the shower curtain. Find one that you really like that has just enough pistachio in it to match well....then also use the other colors in it to choose the main color for you bath decor.
Q:new carpet in house?
Yes.. I know what you mean.. A cheap but still adequate carpet would run around $700 or $750. BUT.. you did not say what is on the floor now.. If it is a carpet but a ratty one.. that would have to come out along with those little wood tack pieces around the sides of the carpet.. tacked to the floor.. To save some money, and if you were getting a quote.. tell the guy that YOU are going to remove the carpet yourself as well as the tack boards and that you would then vacuuming/clean the floor(by sweeping and/or vacuuming of course) to get it ready for the new carpet... I am assuming that you can do that.. It is not difficult.. the only difficult part of doing that is rolling up the existing old carpet and taking it to the garbage can.. What I have done in the past is to get the carpet outside or in the garage and cut it up and put the pieces into the garbage can.. I do all that myself always to save money.
Q:steam cleaning rugs in 01247 area?
in case you be sure to pull the carpet and pad, ensure you persist with up with the main mandatory part of this freshen up, and that's to seal the floor. in case you do no longer try this micro organism scent in the alkaline urine salts will permeate up in direction of the recent pad and carpet, quite throughout the time of sessions of intense humidity, whilst the micro organism residing there grow to be lively. Powders are in no way a sturdy thought as they are impossible to get returned out of the carpet. The powder is now seen soil.
Q:Can you dye an area rug to be a lighter color?
That okorder.com. If you need immediate assistance or would like to speak with a Phoenix Brands LLC Representative, call 866-794-0800, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. EASTERN TIME. You can also look in the phone book for carpet people and see if any list recoloring.
Q:Removing Carpet Stains?
Home remedies don't work and 409 is designed to lighten stains, not remove them.
Q:How to disperse the carpet smell quickly
There isn't so much peculiar smell, then use soap to wash, use the same method to sprinkle on the carpet to remove smell. If it is wool! You can also buy some tea, turpentine or alcohol to wipe. Old stains can be washed with detergent firstly, alcohol also is ok, this is more able to eliminate the smell of food residues and pets. Soda can not only absorb moisture of the carpet. Another method is to use 10% of the ammonia water to wet the vomiting fluid: New stains can be washed with warm water or 10% of ammonia solution. One way is to use gasoline to wipe, and then use 5% of ammonia to wipe. Urine stains: Wipe with gasoline. But the ammonia does harm to wool carpet fiber, evenly spread a thin layer of baking soda on the carpet: First using 5% ammonia liquid to clean, oxalic acid can also be used to clean, using cleaner to suck soda completely in the next morning, and then rinse with water, before going to bed, with elegant tea aroma, finally cleaning with detergent: Wipe with gasoline. Using ammonia to clean, and then re-use detergent to wash again, the residual part needs alcohol to wash, and then using soap water with alcohol to wipe. generally the best way is to put in the ventilation place. But if the smell of your carpet is particularly large, it is likely that the manufacturer used poor materials. Ice cream stains: Edible oil, using detergent can be removed. Old stains can be scrubbed by warm water with detergent and ammonia, then rinse with water.
