PPGI is made by cold rolled steel sheet and galvanized steel sheets as baseplate, through the surface pretreatment (degreasing, cleaning, chemical conversion processing), coated by the method of continuous coatings (roller coating method), and after roasting and cooling. PPGI is light, beautiful and has good corrosion resistant performance, can be directly processed also, ppgi provides the construction, shipbuilding, vehicle manufacturing, furniture industry, and electrical industry a new material, while ppgi has good effects on the areas of replacing wood with steel, efficient construction, energy saving, prevent pollution etc.

Q:hello, I am trying to figure out what wok to get and came across a website that offers many woks out of different materials. what is the best, or considered original (traditional)? I have a couple of cast iron pots and pans - too heavy, so I am assuming it will take some time for a cast iron wok to heat up. what about carbon steel and stainless steel? Thanks
Traditionally woks do take a long to heat up but the trick is that they hold the heat for a long time, so either stainless steel for convenience or cast iron for tradition. Don't use anything non stick, chinese cooking uses a lot of oil, the non-stick will just be unhealthy when it starts to burn off. The cast iron will be good because it'll heat up and keep its heat, in chinese homes that have the wok, the wok usually gets heated up throughout a few hours, you need it to be really hot all the way through all over the pan to do chinese cooking. also traditionally woks are built into home or are big and positiioned over a fire not to be moved too much, the point is to keep stiring and stiring and stiring until your food is cooked.
Q:can u use stainless steel to make a coin? why or why not? answers based on facts plz.
Stainless steel has been used by some countries to make coins, but it's not an ideal metal. When a coin is struck, a die comes down and strikes the blank with many tons of force (the blank is also sitting on top of another die--one has the image on the obverse (front) of the coin, while the other die has the image of the reverse of the coin). When the die strikes the blank, the force causes the metal in the blank to flow into the recesses of the die. The problem with stainless steel is that it doesn't want to flow into the die. To get an image, either the relief (how high the raised portion of the design will be) has to be very low, and the coin has to have a simple design, or they have to greatly increase the pressure of the strike. This slows the coining press down, and greatly shortens the life of the dies.
Q:How are steel coils processed for slitting or edge trimming?
Steel coils are processed for slitting or edge trimming by feeding them into a machine called a slitter. The slitter cuts the coils into narrower strips, which are then rewound onto separate spools. Edge trimming is done to remove any irregularities or imperfections from the edges of the strips, ensuring a smooth and uniform finish.
Q:How are steel coils cut to size?
Steel coils are cut to size using a variety of methods such as shearing, slitting, or laser cutting. These processes involve using specialized machinery to ensure precise and accurate cuts according to the required dimensions.
Q:How do steel coils contribute to the automotive lightweighting trend?
Steel coils contribute to the automotive lightweighting trend by providing a strong and lightweight material that can be used to manufacture various components and structures in vehicles. Due to their high strength-to-weight ratio, steel coils allow automakers to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle without compromising on safety or performance. This enables vehicles to achieve better fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and improved handling, all of which are key goals of the lightweighting trend in the automotive industry.
Q:Do you know of any movies that featured the steel drum?
You okorder /.. If I can find any clips, I'll add them, but I'm sure that many movies in the proper settings (Trinidad, etc.) would have such music and/or show a group or at least a single performer. For example, Cool Running could be a possibility.
Q:They say it's some six times stronger than steel. need some explanation.
Most importantly, spider silk is extremely lightweight: a strand of spider silk long enough to circle the Earth would weigh less than 500 grams (18 oz). Spider silk is also especially ductile, able to stretch up to 140% of its length without breaking. It can hold its strength below ?40 °C. This gives it a very high toughness (or work to fracture), which equals that of commercial polyaramid (aromatic nylon) filaments, which themselves are benchmarks of modern polymer fiber technology. What this means in regard to what you have heard is that if you compared the tensile strength (type 'tensile strength' on wikipedia if you do not know what it means) of spider silk and a strand of steel at the same thickness, the silk would have a higher tensile strength than many grades of steel, upto that of high grade steel - of which they are about the same.
Q:Which is more reactive? Zinc or Steel? And why?
Zinc. Steel is an alloy consisting mostly out of iron, In the reactivity seris, zinc is more reactive than iron. Therefore, zinc is more reactive than steel
Q:Also, what is the top best slow cooker that is 100% stainless steel? Thank you!
You do not want 100% stainless steel cookware, because it's a poor conductor of heat. All high quality stainless cookware is layered with stainless steel only on the exterior and interior surfaces, while having at least an internal heat spreading core of aluminum or copper. Not all stainless steel is sufficiently ferrous (magnetic) to work with electric inductive cooktops, so some stainless cookware adds an additional layer of ferrous steel in addition to the thermal cores. You also wouldn't want a slow cooker that's 100% stainless steel, because the uneven heating would cause food to burn more quickly. They are usually made of ceramic stoneware for a reason, even heating. Besides, a stainless pressure cooker (with alum/copper) core can in less than an hour everything a slow cooker does in 3+ hours, with better flavor, color, and nutritional content. By the way, the Prestige stainless cookware isn't 100% stainless, of course, and that's a GOOD thing.
Q:I bought this Brinks pad lock and it says boron steel on the lock. I was just wondering what exactly is boron steel and how hard/tough is it?
Boron steel is rather hard, it is by no means titanium, but certainly better than mild steel. However, as with all metals, hardness is inversely proportional to flexibility, meaning that a good solid whack with a sledge hammer could crack your lock.
