- Q:A network cable must cross a power cable. What can be done to minimize the amount of EMI?

- RCA Cables: These are the cables used to transfer pre-amp (line level) signals. Usually, you use this type of cable for unamplified signals such as the connection between your head unit and amp or crossovers/eqs. Look for appropriate thickness and shielding. The end connectors should be sturdy to prevent breakage from stress. Some claim that very expensive cable makes a difference in sound quality. I do not think so, do not spend more than $1/foot. You may need to spend more to get cables that are more immune to noise if you have that problem in your car
- Q:I'm building another computer to give to someone, i have all the parts and when it got down to installing the CD drive and the Hard drive i plugged the sata cables into the motherboard but when i looked to install them to the power supply mine did not have any of those cables. I had spare cables from my other power supply but they require you to plug them into the power supply but since the other power supply is older it doesn't work. I was wondering if i could get cables that plug into the extra connectors then to the CD drive/ Hard drive instead of plugging them into the power supply then the CD drive/ Hard drive.
- There's 2 types of power connectors, old style 4-pin Molex and Sata power. Adapters are pretty cheap, just check Monoprice.
- Q:Hi,I have a set of Sony speakers that are a few years old. They have no power cable (nowhere to plug a cable in either) and the aux cable has no jacks. It is just two split wires. How can I connect them to my TV?Thanks,Aaron
- Very few TVs have connections for external speakers. The wire attached to each of your speakers is a speaker wire, not an aux cable. Your TV would need to have a line-level audio output (RCA jacks) or at least a headphone jack, which would be connected to a line-level input on a stereo or surround-sound receiver, and then that would drive the speakers. Speakers that have wires permanently attached (coming out through a hole), rather than having terminals to which wires are to be connected, are universally inferior. Still, considering the poor sound quality of many modern TVs, even the crummiest of box speakers might be an improvement.
- Q:I'm AM NOT looking for Ipod, USB, ethernet, or cellphone charger cables, just simple 120V appliance power cables that can be hardwired/soldered in to replace existing cords.

- Q:My power supply has one cable with 3 sata connectors on it. Can I connect my disc drive and hard drive on the one cable? My PSU also has a cable with 3 four pin molex connectors on it and my case has 3 fans. Can I connect all my fans to that one cable with all the molex connectors on it?
- Yes to both questions. It doesn't matter whether you're connecting only harddrives to that cable or only diskdrives (aside from the fact that these are usually located a little apart from each other.) You can combine both and they will work. As for fans... If they have the molex connectors rather than standard 3-pin fan connectors, you can connect them for sure. Depending on what power supply you have, you'll probably have anywhere from 18-30amp on your 12v molex rail. Harddrives will take under 2amp, and depending on what fans you have, they'll use anywhere 0.5-3amp, so even if you have 3 extremely powerful fans drawing 3amp each (3 x 3amp = 9amp), you can safely connect 6 of such monster fans to that 12v molex rail. To be honest, I haven't met too many of such fans - most standard 120mm fans, even with leds, will use no more than 1.5amp. 80mm fans non-led fans will use about 0.3-0.5 amp. If you have a very powerful psu with 30amp on 12v rail and hundred of 80mm fans, in theory you can run all of them. In practice, I'd like to see that :)

- Yep its the same thing as the 1 that came with the Xbox 360 but not made by Microsoft. Only problem is you'll still need the power block that came with the xbox 360.
