Application

The electric cable is applied to transmit and distribute power in power transmission and distribution system of 35kV~500kV. It is widely adopted in the fields including power, construction, mines, metallurgy, petrochemical industry and communication in complete replace of oil immersed paper insulated power cable.

Standards

The maximum rated temperature

The maximum operating temperature of conductor shall exceed 90℃when the cable is used for long not period. The temperature of conductor shall not exceed 250℃ at short circuit for 5 seconds.

this is typical i have installed a lot of water heaters. under normal circumstances it does not matter what color goes to what wire on 220 the only wire that matters is your ground. make sure the bare wire goes to the green ground lug on top of your water heater. the 2 colored wires from the breaker panel can connect to either of the colored wires from your water heater.

I think only the electric company is allowed to do anything related to the overhead wires. Utilities control everything up to the Power Meter (the spinning wheel that shows power useage), and electricians deal with everything from circuit breaker to outlets. As for cost, probably in the 1000-1500 range for about 1-2 hours work because the utilities are uncontested. That's just my rough guess, but it won't be some 50 dollars and you're done type deal.
Q:I am experiencing a problem with electrical wiring. I was trying to change a lightswitch to a duplex lightswitch/outlet. I could only get the outlet to work, not the lightswitch part. Did i get you right , that what you needed is a light switch and an extra outlet? the power line for a light switch, one passing thru the switch then connected to the light, while the other, live one is connected directly to your light or receptacles, when you switch the light the line that pass thru you switch is powered giving you a positive and negative power. to light your lamp. Now when you installed an additional outlet, you must connect the two negative and positive wire to your outlet. See to it that the line connected to your receptacles is not altered but connected to one terminal of your outlet say as the positive line,while the other line the negative line, connected to your outlet should extend thru your switch then from switch this line shall be connected to your receptacle to complete the connection. I presumed that you know how to connect the wire to your switch. This is only a single live wire, cut off into two, one connected to he upper terminal of your switch and the one one connected to lower terminal then this line is connected to the terminal of your receptacle to complete the cycle. Check that even if your light is off, your outlet must be energised if it is not, then review your connection The failure of your light switch might be due to loose connection or parts of it isn't working anymore that you need to change it to new one.

OMG your question gave me the shivers.Ive been an electrician for over 30 yrs, recommend you hire someone who knows a bit more , wait a lot more, than you do. Sorry but Ive seen many get seriously hurt with this. As far as your answer, most washers, need a 20 amp 115 volt circuit, usually should be dedicated to the washer alone with nothing else on the circuit.(many dont however but thats what i recommend) and NOOOO you cannot use a 20 amp wire on a 15 amp circuit , well you actually can but wht purpose would that do? the circuit would still be rated 15 amps. Now a dryer 99% of the time requires a separate circuit. 220 volts at 30 amperes. this is the normand do not even think of wiring this if you dont know howyou also willneed a new breaker and so on
Q:I am replacing the exhaust fan in my bathroom. On the joist where I will be attaching the unit, there is a black electrical wire running along the joist. On the old fan, I think the wire either pinned between the joist and the box or sitting on the top of the box. The new fan has a taller height, so I don't think I can let it sit on the box. Electric wires are stapled in place every 4', Just undo some staples to get some slack in the line and re staple it so it clears the fan housing.

You pretty much answered the question yourself. Ground all three bulbs and run wire from switch one to bulb one. wire from button two to bulb two, and wires from button three to both light one and two.
