Q:i have a big box of many different kinds of wires (av, usb, power supplies, etc), but i don't know what most of them are and what they are used for. is there a website where i can find out what all of these wires are used for?
You mean cables, not wires. A cable can contain many wires.
Q:Hello,I changing the engine harness and body harness on my Cary becuase they were cut.Where can I find a electrical or engine harness/body harness diagram for 2009 carmy le 4cyc auto, ????
At an Auto parts store. they sell books for you cars entire engine, electrical etc systems. also you may try on line
Q:I live in Ontario. I would like to buy the electrical wires with 60%-80% copper inside and export them to China. The metal recycling company wanted me to make the offer first. This is my first time running this business. So, How much should I offer? Range or the prices?I know that I can get them at a lower price from the factories (sources). However, I don't have truck to toll them. Also, can I pay the recycling company more to ship the containers to China for me? Do they do that?
definite this is definatley nicely worth some time. even nevertheless I dont think of your taking it to the splendid place. I artwork at a recycling company and we pay $a million.35 for #2 Insulated copper cord. Your cord besides the undeniable fact this is Romex which will pay purely approximately $2 a pound. Alot of scrap yards would be extremely shady so be sure you will discover the dimensions weights once you're taking your cord in. Im uncertain of your scrap yards policies yet you additionally must ask for broker fees. What meaning is which you will get around $2.30 for the insulated or around $3.80 for the bare copper. My company will usually provide broker fees on weights over 100lbs or for a well-known company. purely be sure you think approximately that almost 0.5 the load would be interior the insulation. a hundred lbs. insulated cord for $one 0 five or $one hundred seventy five for fifty lbs. of bare superb copper.
Q:explain?thank you veeery much :)
Yep, about 90% of electrical power goes into heating (the heater is constructed for that, with high resistance wiring to get heat). The rest goes into visible light (glowing). For a light bulb electricity it is NOT efficient, about 90% is heat, which you do not want in that case, you just want the light
Q:I established that under my car the part that shields the exhaust system and electrical wiring from being exposed is broken. It is located right under my hood on the outside (between the ground and acutal car).I am trying to figure out what that part is called so i could buy a replacement.
This is an exhaust manifold down pipe heat shield.
Q:Can you put electrical tape over wires that lost parts of the rubber covering them, that connect to the distributor??? or will the tape melt or something?
No not good will not seal it. Go to even a junk yard or car and get one or get a new set.
Q:Hello, we have several plugs that have no ground wire. The electrical wire for most of those plus seem to be running through the ceiling (not accessible that I know of). There is a basement and it looks like the plugs that have been grounded are connected to a cold-water pipe. We would like to tap in a junction box in the basement, and run a new wire (that includes ground) to a non-grounded receptacle by drilling a hole through the floor. Then, run the wire externally on the wall, drill another hole right below the receptacle cover to insert the wire inside and make the connection. Is the external wire against code? Does it have to be hidden inside a wall?
No you can't run it exposed Thats what is called exposed to physical damage and has to be protected, and for the fella saying it may be BXHAHA! The outer jacket of BX IS NOT a Ground!! Back when BX was used they used 2 prong outlets, Hence NO GROUND! If you don't know Electrical work, Call an Electrician and don't give recommendations that you are clueless about!
Q:Is there any requirement that the cable will be placed in the wireway?
Generally by wire, cable accounted for 40% of the cross-sectional volume of the slot.
Q:I was in my attic today and I stepped on a cable and it snapped How do I fix this?
Call a qualified electrican.
Q:What is the maximum current through the eight square copper wires
---------------------- extended reading ------------ ------ Select the industrial communication cable, first meet the impedance (Z0 = 120Ω) match, and then according to the specific communication rate, transmission distance, wiring environment, laying mode configuration different model specifications
