- if your roof is regular mineral coated shingles i would NOT recommend pressure washing the roof,,,it will take off alot of the minerals and could shorten the life by many years,,if its dark from mildew there are chemicals to clean it with using a spray attachment and a garden hose

- No, it isn't. However, you have to have access to hot water. If there is no hot water the health department will give yoru landlord 24 hours to get a working hot water heater.
