Q: Ask the classroom length 9m. Width 6m. High 3m. With paint brush and roof. Remove window 24 square meters per square meter need paint 200
Do you ask how much paint you need? 6 * 9 + 3 * 6 * 2 + 3 * 9 * 2-24 = 120 square meters, and then use 120 square meters by the amount of paint per square meter required on it. Such as 120 * 200 = 24kg
Q: Roof just installed in July 2011. Had to have the roofer back to cut some shingles near the dormer that were too long and sticking up. The roof first leaked in the living room from the high hat lights and around the casement window. Roofer came and caulked around dormer window and put holes in the j channel. Then it leaked in the bedroom. I hired a home inspector for $175 who found nothing (no water or stain in attic). Roofer couldn't find anything either but home inspector said he did something little on the roof before he got up there so I don't know the whole story. Now it is leaking again from the casement window (but not the high hat). This roof was very costly and they removed all the old plywood and replaced it with new plywood. Home inspector suspects the dormer. What recourse do we have after we have three leaks and the installer cannot find the leak?
Keep calling the company till they send the guy who can find the leak. They always have a person who's an engineer or supervisor who can do lots more than the regular repair guys they send. Just tell them after 3 attempts they need to send in the special trouble shooter as you can't tolerate the leaking anymore. It's likely they will have to tear out some of their work as it's done improperly where it's not visible and they hate doing that, but you have to stay on them till they do.
Q: ...what color should your walls be-pink, spring green or light orange?
Lemons do smell and look like summer. I'm getting married in 5 months, I couldn't imagine waiting another year! Good luck with the centerpieces. The colors sound interesting together, though.
Q: Are there certain required windows to place on the roof? I'm replacing my bubble type window and don't really like the fact that i can't see through it. So i would like to know what other options i have can any window go up there? I don't get direct sunlight on that side of my home.whats a good website yo browse for types and ideas? Thanks.
NO, not at all. You need to have a roof window or skylight that is specifically designed for the purpose and you have to install it with a complex series of flashings, framing and sealants or it is 100% certain to leak and eventually rot. The Roto company makes excellent roof windows -- I installed three in the roof of my last house -- they could be cranked open for ventilation and had built in screens and double-paned insulating glass with UV protection. My boyfriend and I installed them and were very careful about using the correct flashing, sealants and re-installing the roofing shingles around them. They never leaked at all and always operated beautifully to bring light and fresh air into the house.
Q: free gov. loans and grants to fix roof and windows in home?
what world are you Living in ? there is NO free loans or grants, [to Americans any way]
Q: My house loft skylight is not open, only a large piece of glass. Heavy rain in the past few years is always leaking. I would like to use their own glass in the roof of the house can be squeezed on it? The Because it is not convenient to the roof. Glass glue can stick lime wall, because the glass is another contact surface is lime wall. Do not know the glass glue effective ineffective. More
The basic can not repair, glue no use, more information, better advice, free to provide concrete waterproof leaking water repair technical advice, from today's repair, tomorrow leak, year-old repair,
Q: I drop Something from the roof past the window. I see that it took 0.13 s yo fall past the 2.0m y'all window. How far above the top of the window is the roof?
Past the window T = S/Vavg = S/(V + U)/2 = 2S/(U + gT + U) = 2S/(2U + gT) and 2UT + gT^2 = 2S; so that U = (2S - gT^2)/(2T) = (4 - 9.8*.13^2)/(2*.13) = 14.7 m/s atop the window. Then H = U^2/2g = 14.7^2/(2*9.8) = 11 m above the window top. ANS.
Q: Would you rather bang your head on the glass window hard or jump from your roof landing on a bunch of nails?
Banging ur head against glass = BRAIN DAMAGE (POSSIBILITY) 2nd choicee , lol
Q: OK, I have a old 1995 travel trailer installation is poor and it has plenty of leaks. It is 40 feet long and has 2 pop outs that make it about 13 feet wide. So about 520 sq ft max. Do you think it would be cheaper to run the old roof top AC or run a window unit. I don't know how much wattage it would be to run the roof top, but I do know that the window unit will run at 1,350 watts. I live in Florida and it is parked right under the sun with no shade. Both units will keep the trailer cold, but I don't know the life left on the rooftop unit. And i want to keep the utility bills down. What is your experience and knowledge? Is their a way I can estimate? Should I go with the roof top or window ( it is a Frigidaire 15,100 BTU 11.2 EER 115V Window Air Conditioner - FFRE1533Q1 )
The water cooled AC units are outside air units.
Q: I'm building a small and simple house. It's going to be more like a shed than a house, really. I've already sketched the plans for building it, using online sources as a guideline. I'm stuck on how to build the frame of the wall with the door and also another wall with a window. The walls will be 10x10'. I don't have a preference yet on what I want the size of the window and door to be.I'm also wanting to build it with a flat roof but I was wondering why that may be a bad thing. I'm going to be putting a tarp on it when it rains and sweeping leaves off of it regularly. I was wondering what could go wrong with having a flat roof. The purpose of the flat roof is that I'm wanting to just lay ontop of it, maybe stare at the stars at night. If you have any tips for me that would also be great, this is my first major-ish building project.
first you get a door, w/a frame and a window, then you measure the length and width of the door [at the casein] and the same for the window when your building the building you frame in a place for the door [with the measurement you did for the door] and do the same for the window opening, as for a flat roof make a 4 inch slope on it for rain to run off and you can still lay on it, keep every thing square as you go
