Q: I have a double leather bed in my own bedroom, but my spare bedroom is in dire need of a makeover. So I was hoping to keep with the theme of my other bedroom but buy a single leather bed instead of a double. I have about ?250 spare and would like some reccomendations. So anyone else got a single leather bed? Where should I buy one? and how much does it cost?

Q: I've just put my ds (18mo) into a toddler bed. The first several nights were great. He slept really well and seemed to be quite happy with it.Then last night, he fell out, TWICE.His bed is a proper toddler bed, with just the crib mattress in there (we still have the crib up, with a spare mattress)so it isn't a long fall, and one of the times that he fell, he just slept on the floor. The bed has a board at the head, at the foot, adn a small rail along each side - a little at the top, and a little at the bottom.I went to buy the pre-fab rails, only to realise that you must have a box spring and mattress to use them. ugh. The head and foot boards are actually wider than the bed, so even if one side is up against the wall, there is a 4-5 gap.He was not very pleased about going down for his nap in the bed this afternoon - what can I do? Should I make a little rail out of board of some sort and keep him in? Or will he learn eventually how big the bed is, and just stop falling out? (not likely huh?)Thanks.
I also had this problem - at 12. I would just fall out of bed and wake up on the ground, with a rather sore bottom. What I did was, I took off the metal frame and just had my box-spring and mattress on the floor. Now, when I fall out, it's no big deal. I do that, even today, 5 years later. Also, have you considered that your child might need a bigger bed? Perhaps he just needs more room to roll-around in. Also, you can try literally tucking his sheets under the little mattress when you say good night. This may keep him in bed, if you do it tight enough. Good luck! You may just need to save up for a twin-sized mattress and box-spring!
Q: i have a 1993 reg cab short bed s10 with a rotted bed. will a bed from a 1994 (differnet body style) reg cab short bed fit and bolt on? the 94 bed is also a stepside (alot sportier)thanks
I'm guessing that this would work, providing your gas tank and filler spout are in the same location on both beds.Crawl underneath, make sure the mounting bolts are in the same locations,go from there.Good luck.
Q: I just purchased a mattress, queen size, and the box is 9.25 inches high. This is the highest bed I have ever had, but I think high beds look nice, so I wanted a change. What sort of bed set (if any) should I get to match my new mattress with such a height? Pictures are welcome :).

Q: I can't afford store bought bedding so I was wondering if there was someway I could make a safe, cheap, bedding for my hamster. Thanks!
Maybe you can, but don't sweat there are many kinds of cheap bedding you can buy, I use recycled paper that you buy at the stores for a cheap price and the hamsters love it! It's called Eco Bedding and you can buy it for $4.99 (for 10 litter bag that expands up to 30 litters)at most stores!
Q: you are laying in bed one night when you hear Micheal Jackson start singing. the sound is coming form under your bed. at first you think its just a joke. but then he starts talking to you. he has a knife and he is slowly cutting up through your mattress. he tells you that the door is locked from the outside and you have no chance of escape.WHAT DO YOU DO?
call 911 and beat the crap out of him
Q: 6 feet wide bed, what specifications of quilt cover, sheets?
Need 220x240, because 6 feet wide, that is, 2M wide bed.
Q: What is the difference between a twin mattress and a bunk bed mattress? Also is it necessary to get a bunk bed mattress and what is the benefit to doing so?Thanks.
My sons shared a bunk bed an this is what I learned: A bunk bed is the size of a twin mattress: 39 wide by 76 long. Bunk beds do not have box springs. Some bunk beds have ample support in the platform where the mattress rests and can accommodate a regular twin mattress. Other bunk beds require bunk bed mattresses, which have their own support system built into the bottom section of the actual mattress. Hope this clarifies the difference between the two.
Q: Everywhere I look I either see beds that you can buy rails to add on to them or the toddler bed that has what I would say isn't even half a rail on each side of the bed. What I'm looking for is a toddler bed that has the rail that runs the full length of the matress. It kind of resembles a crib, only it's a bed and the rails aren't as tall.I know they have to exist, I've seen them before. Can anyone point me in a direction???
All I can say is good luck! I wanted the same thing, because it's what made sense to me....but nope! I looked online, furniture stores, department stores, baby stores....everywhere! Finally.....I bought a toddler bed with no rails and added a bed rail. It seemed to be our only option. There is about a 12 inch section at the end of the bed (where her feet go) that isn't covered, but that works because that's where she climbs out of bed. Good Luck!
Q: I must stay at a YMCA this weekend and I've heard there Might be bed bugs. What methods of prevention might you suggest? Essential oils? Garlic? Pagan circles? Steak? :) ...but seriously....help?
I recommend sleeping on the floor, with a sleeping bag/pillow you bring with you. A severe bed-bug infestation can cause you problems. My sister her husband were in Japan for 2 years, during his military stay, and contracted bed-bugs from the place they stayed (NOT on the military bas,,,obviously); and they had such skin rash bites they each had to be treated with antibiotics and toopical skin creams. Why even subject yourself to the bed at the Y if you don't have to? Sleep on the floor!
