Q:home grown onion.....?
Depends more on the onion variety than on whether it's store/homegrown. Red onions, and walla wallas I think are sweeter. (I think everything tastes better out of my own garden, but I've hardly tested them side by side)
Q:Book recommendations for how to plan for when your garden flowers bloom?
There is a link to a book in my source section below. But what you are looking for is succession gardening, so do a web search on that term in quotes. The second link is to a garden plan description on the Better Homes Gardens web site. You will have to register to see the actual plan but they do not spam you.
Q:What is your favorite place in your home?
Well its my room always.. else if its a gud climate i wud sit in the balcony with all the windows open..
Q:seven dust for garden?
Instead of sevin dust try Eight Garden Pesticide. It is pyrethrin based and Bonide Garden Dust Eight label. This Sevin dust alternative has the less is more technology which is an odorless, ready-to-use plant pest control product. This is a vegetable garden insecticide that kills and repels virtually any insect pest common to the home garden. This is also great for Japanese Beetles on roses and flowers. Colored green to blend in with the foliage. Contains: Permethrin 0.125%.

Q:How to use urea in home gardening?
Hi Dolphi, First of all you got to see, does your soil is really deficient of Nitrogen. If yes, than use slow release Urea, or else it will burn your Garden out. Best is call a gardener, he knows the Job. Too many technicalities are involved. Cow dung if available is best, but it has very awful smell. OK.
Q:Would you rather live in your home, or garden?
I would rather live in garden.
Q:How can I keep deer out of my home vegetable garden?
I have protected young garden plants with deer netting. Usually I cover a row about 3.5 foot wide at a height of about 15 inches. I remove the netting when the plants get too tall, but usually I have had most problems with deer or rabbits when plants are very small. Deer Netting is a 3/4 inch mesh, black plastic netting that comes in 7 ft wide by 100 ft long rolls and is reasonably priced. I build a simple wood structure of 1'' by 2'' lumber to hold it up and fasten it to the ground with garden or landscape fabric staples. This is described in more detail in the article link below. On taller things like a fencing I have cucumbers climb on, I have hung chunks of smelly soap, strips of dryer fabrics sheets, and sprayed with various homemade repellent sprays (recipes found on line, see second link below for examples). Sometimes I also lean additional sections of fencing against the first one until the cucumbers are well established. I have also made small tents of window screening for widely spaced individual plants. Good luck!
Q:Where can I get some type of water mister for lawn and/or garden?
seriously? you mean like something you find at any home/garden store?
