What are any tips you guys might have?: Keep soil moist and loose...if you have a choice of locations, morning sun is better than the hot afternoon/evening sun. Most vegetables do best in a sandy loam soil...if you have a heavy clay soil, then you can lighten it by adding perlite or even some sand. If you have a very sandy soil with not much topsoil, then you can help retain moisture by adding some peat moss. You can also use a cheap mulch (pine bark mulch) to retain moisture and keep roots cool from the hot afternoon sun. It's also a good idea to pick up a pH test kit from local home and garden center to check the pH of your soil. If the soil is too acidic, then your plants won't be able to access any nutrients from the soil. Adding lime will raise the pH to a good level of 5.5 - 7 if it's low.

Q: I just started a very strict diet due to a medical condition and it says that I can't eat store bought tomatoes but I can eat home grown, so is that the same as organic?: yes but,do not use any chemical fertilizers or pesticides or youll be eating that ,and there goes your organic status.use organic fertilizers and natural pest control methods only there are even organic minerals you can add to the soil to super charge the nutrient value of your tomatoes.

They don't need the money or liability and a 60 day move oput clause will discourage most buyers, that is too long for escrow.

Q: Not sure of the year of the cookbook, but the recipe is not in any current Better Homes and Garden Cookbook or any I have found at the library. I believe the egg foo yung recipe was listed exactly as that. It contained cabbage, bean sprouts, celery, and green pepper. It included a sauce recipe. This is my huband's favorite recipe, and I have lost it. My cookbook fell apart and I operated from the loose page, knowing I should have attached it to something. Procrastination is an awful thing. Tomorrow is my husband's birthday and he always requests this recipe. I know I may be too late here and will have to punt tomorrow, but I would still like the original recipe, if possible. Q: Hi, i have a 17 week old labrador. he has made incredibly progress in the 7 weeks that we have had him but there is a problem with him. he will listen perfectly to commands like come and sit indoor or in the garden but as soon as there are no walls around him he looses it. even if he is on the leash he will simply not listen when he is called, told to stop biting things ect.is it because he is still young and the bigger world is far more interesting for him and he will get better as he gets older or am i doing something wrong? thanks.: no he just probaly needs more time keep practicing puppys cant get it on the first time but e also probaly wants to explore he will learn as he gets older just be patiant with him

Q: Okay so I have a few 'Home and Garden Party' candles at my home. I absolutely love them! But the problem is, I don't know where to find them. I tried searching them on the internet and I couldn't find them. I think I had purchased these through one of those candle party things. They smell amazing and I wish I could find them.
