Neither. You should give him a Limited Power of Attorney, with what specifically you want him to be able to handle and for how long. You can get a good one written up for free in the Army.

What you are talking about is the Sine Wave. Many generators don't produce true Sine Wave current. The result is your electronics will burn up. Check your generator info when you go to purchase one. There are several generators that produce true Sine Wave Current and they will state it on their brochures, etc. as it is a major selling feature. Also be aware that most inverters are not true Sine Wave. They will burn out electronics when the Sine Wave varies. True Sine Wave Inverters cost more than the regular inverter so be ready to shell a few $$ more.

No. The money belongs to the estate. If there is a will, the executor follows the will and distributes the money. If no will, probate court decides who are the heirs.

Yes and No. The alternator in your vehicle produces a max of 13.5 volts when functioning properly. A typical battery charger will produce up to 15 volts. The inverter in your charger will also produce 15 volts. Interesting enough 12V solar panels actually produce between 16 and 18 volts. The car alternator will provide charging output to the batteries but you would have to run the vehicle for a long to time to get much of a charge. Also, with the car alternator, you don't have any way to properly control the rate of charge. You can seriously damage your batteries if you don't charge them properly. I've messed up several during my learning curve. You're much better off buying a small generator and charging the batteries properly with the generator during a power outage. So in summary, yes, you can charge them with the jumper cables in a pinch but you won't get a full charge and you need to be extra careful and make sure to hook the cables up to the proper terminals on the battery bank. This should only be done in an emergency and with the understanding that you're running the risk of damaging your batteries. I hope this helps you, Patty

Q:i tried to make a purchase on OKorder through pay pal. i don't have any credit cards so i use my visa bank card for all transactions. the seller was in canada.my bank put some block recently on international purchases even on pay pal. i called today and asked about it. the lady was very rude and told me it is for my protection and i had no choice in the matter. she didn't have all day to argue with me and if i didn't like it i could close the account. then hung up on me. i offered to sign a statement agreeing not to hold the bank liable for any fraud or Identity theft on my account. i feel like it is discrimination against international trade. it is unethical. i called other local banks and most don't have any policy like this at all and the few that did said that because pay pal insurances transactions through them if it is through pay pal it shouldn't matter where the seller is.

The insurance industry became so powerful through mandatory insurance laws. People don't realize that laws requiring insurance were completely bogus as uncovered drivers were automatically covered under no fault clause of the Insurance Program. They convinced people that others were being ruined in wrecks with uninsured drivers. This was a lie. With mandatory insurance laws, they now required a government official to over see the industry. Just choose credit instead of debit when you slide your card. Call the banks number to be sure. It should be on the back of the card.
