The steps of window construction:
Aluminum or PVC (UPVC) window is being made from Aluminum or UPVC profile, window accessories and glass.
To produce an Aluminum or PVC window you have to do the following steps:
Cut the profiles (Aluminum or uPVC Profile, reinforcement and Glazing bead)
Put reinforcement profile inside the uPVC profiles
Screw reinforcement profile into PVC profile
End mill the mullions
Open holes for door handles, sash fastener channels and espagnolette
Weld uPVC profile or Crimping Aluminum profile
Clean the welded corners of uPVC windows
Assemble window

When I read on the back it says that it can not be done on drywall (there are not frames around the windows just the draywall). Any suggestions? I would really appreciate it.

- soap and water is the best thing to use a very light detergent soap. do not use any kind of windex or something smiler as it will turn y our plastic brown. you can go and get some plastic cleaner and use but soap and water is just as good and allot cheaper.

- Are you using the shrink wrap type plastic (you use a hair dryer to shrink it down)? I have had good experiences from this stuff, but if you can't get a very nice seal between the plastic and the window frame then it's not going to help much. Is the plastic popping off right away, like while you are blow drying it, or later like the next day or a month later? The problem could be from dust or grime or maybe an oily buildup (especially near kitchens) on the window sills and frames. If this is causing your problems, then a good no residue degreasing cleanser could help you a lot. If that doesn't help, then maybe the particular paint on your sills and frames doesn't work well with the plastic attaching stuff. If you can get the plastic in place and start the shrink wrap process maybe you can shrink it a little less, so there won't be quite so much tension on it but it will still be in place and insulating your house. edit: yes the shrinkwrap goes inside the house over the windows and yes it will work fine. Why did this other dude think i was talking about outside? Cause I mentioned dust and grime? The don't know indoors can get dirty, too?

- Q: I own a 323i bmw convertible. I just replaced the top but the back plastic window is already starting to cloud. I was recommended a wax called ziond or something along those lines. It worked the first time but is now turning the window yellow. I dont wish to replace the window so i was wondering if anyone knew an easier option? such as some home remedy to grease it off. idk ive tried everything!thanks!
- confident, yet as with every issues beemer, it is going to fee you. i mandatory that finished too. I have been given 4 costs. In all 4 situations, changing the whole marvelous fee approximately $200 extra effective than changing merely the window. considering my camel colored marvelous had some floor in stains, i desperate having an entire new marvelous became nicely certainly worth the extra effective $200.

- Have you looked in home improvement stores for big, wide, heavy duty (thick) pieces of plastic? {usually comes off of a roll) It may be big enough, and being heavier, it will do a better job of preventing heat loss.

- I am not sure if it would actually stick to the window or not but I would not advise using it even if it will work. Jeep plastic windows scratch very easily so it would probably damage the windows.
- Q: I have a 1994 convertible with a plastic rear window, and it has 13 years of dirtiness on that thing. There is a bunch of ugly what I presume are scratches all across teh middle (probably from the folding process).Also, there are little almost transparent white circles (you have to see them from an angle though)... that are also really annoying.Can you identify what those circles are??I've tried meguire's plastx polish...and even some white vinegar distilled in water.Currently, im looking for a more aggressive product.
- In some cases (not all) plastic can be restored using Noxema. Yes skin cleaner. It has stuff in it that gets down into the scratches, and cleans them very well. It has a very mild abrasive in it which will aid in removal of minor scratches. The best part is that you can snag a small amount from a wife, daughter or sister for free and try it to see if it will work on a small area before you go out and buy it yourself. I've never used it on rear convertible windows before, but I have used it on instrument clusters, and stereos with great results.
