- Q:how did they turn the cells into a polymer for the heart scaffold ?
- May have misunderstood. The heart is gently stripped of cells by using a detergent - this leaves the extracelllular matrix - a polymer of collagen - inert and insoluble. New cells (stem cells) will then be added to the structure to repopulate it with living heart muscle which gain coordination and structure from the matrix.

- Q:I know it's soon, but my piercings swollen and quite sore when knocked slightly.I've only had it three or four days, but there's a swollen round lump right next to one pierced hole and I was worried it could be an early sign of a keloid. But I don't know if it's too soon to tell yet.I know they can take up to 6 months to heal, if not more, but I'm kinda paranoid about it.I've rinsed it after showering, used salt water on it every day and apart from that just washed it with water on a cotton bud.Any advice?
- Your body has to adjusting and trying to heal. It'll be sore and swollen for a bit. Try not to jerk it around anything. If you don't see the swelling starting to go down and/or the soreness increases I'd have a doctor check it out.
- Q:I know the ivy sort of glues itself to whatever surface with little sticky pads so that will take care of itself on the back of my house but can I use the existing Ivy for the wisteria to grab onto and climb up or will the wisteria be too heavy and pull the ivy down? I'd rather avoid having to build something for the wisteria to wrap itself around. Any suggestions? Thanks! : )
- No, ivy isn't that strong. One can easily unzip it from the walls. Wisteria is way too heavy for ivy. Plus you have the root competition down below. Ivy creates an incredible dense mat of roots , little grows with it. Wisteria would have quite a battle on its hands for root space and nutrients.
