Q:What is the previous version of the scaffold fastener (JGJ166-2008) for construction? That is, the implementation of the current version of JGJ166-2008 will soon be replaced by 2009.7.1 version.
What does the previous version mean? Once the new version comes out, the previous version is cancelled
Q:Why is there so much unnecessary scaffolding in NYC?
Must belong to someone's cousin. Buildings need cleaning too.
Q:An 800N painter stands 3.00m from the left end of a scaffold that is 4.00m long. The uniform wooden scaffold weighs 100N and is hung by a chain at each end. What is the tension in each chain?A uniform meter stick weighs 25 N. An 80 N weight is hung at the 20.0cm mark. A 70.0N weight is hung at the 90cm mark. what is the magnitude of the upward force needed to balance the meter stick? Please help! I have a huge exam on these and my teacher wouldn't help me! I am so stumped please help!
Required conditions for equilibrium (Other wise the scaffold is moving) Sum of forces = 0 Sum of Torques = 0 Sum of Forces Painter: 800 N DOWN Scaffold: 100 N Down Sum of tensions in chains = 800 + 100 = 900 N UP Sum of Torques (Pick one end, it does not matter which. I choose the Left end) Torque = Force * Lever arm Painter is 3.0 meters from Left end Tp = 800 N * 3.00 m = 2,400 N-m CW (Clockwise) Center of gravity is at the center of the scaffold or 4/2 = 2 meters from the Left enf Ts = 100 * 2 = 200 N-m CW This means that the chain on the Right end must supply 2400 + 200 = 2600 N-m CCW Tc = Fc * 4.00 m 2600 = Fc * 4 Fc= 650 N UP Total need up is 900 N====> 900 - 650 = 250 N in Left chain QED
Q:i really want this piercing but i am a wimp with pain lolbut 2 of my friends have got i one said it was sore and onesaid it wasnt and im getting it tomorrow
Scaffolding Peircing
Q:is it possible for me to get an industrial piercing like do i have the right kind of ear shape for it ?
You can definitely get it! When you go in to get it they'll just measure the length from side to side of your ear and pick a bar according.. then you'll just have to go through the piercing process which isn't bad at all. Good luck!
Q:I got mine done about 10 weeks ago, with the two rings either side of the ear to give it healing space, then about 2 weeks ago, got the bar put through it... but I still can't sleep/lie on it comfortably. How long after getting the piercing, roughly, have people been able to sleep on their without it hurting?
It takes 6-12 months for a cartilage piercing to heal when done properly with a needle and double that time if a gun was used. I don#x27;t know why they pierced you with rings (should never be used in a scaffold#x2F;industrial piercing) and especially why they changed it to a bar so soon. You should have been pierced with a bar to begin with because changing the jewelry like that causes irritation and prolongs healing time. I think you need to find a different piercer.
Q:at what age can you get a scaffold/industrial piercing in england without parental consent?
there actually are no laws in the UK about piercings other than the genitals and female nipples (you have to be 16 to get pierced in any of those locations) it is up to individual studios on what age they don't require parental consent. the best thing to do would be to contact your local shop.
Q:I'm 15 atm, I want either an industrial piercing now or a scaffold piercing that I can connect later. I may be getting a scaffold piercing instead, seeing as school regulations here probably won't allow a full industrial. It might just be a phase but I've wanted one for a while, and if I don't like it I can always just keep the scaffold piercing if I decide to get that. What I'm wondering is: Are there any people who have an industrial? does it annoy you? does it get infected easily? and how long did it take to fully heal?I'd appreciate all answers, even if you only know someone with one. Thanks in advance.
max said it perfect.. just keep it clean .. dont get that industrial caught on anything itll rip half your ear off ive seen it and that will cost alot to fix and is permanent .. so be careful climbing trees etc .. doing kid stuff with advanced piercing work.
Q:basically im just a bog standard lad 6 foot 2 have tattoos but no piercings yet but i want something that not many other people havemost people these days have spacers and i hate thembut i was thinking of a black scaffold bar in my left ear?but it worries me it would look a bit homosexual if you get my meaningif lets say you walk down a street and you see someone with a scaffold what would you think of the person?
Absolutely not, I think they're awesome and suit both genders.
Q:I've been wanting an industrial piercing for quite a while now, and thankfully I convinced my parents to let me get it done about two weeks ago. We were on vacation in Florida last week and my mom said I could get it done there if I wanted, so we went into a tattoo shop and asked about it. They told me something I'd never heard before, that they would pierce the holes with hoops and in about a month I could put the barbell in. The piercers told me it would heal a lot easier this way and if the barbell was put in right away I'd end up taking it out because of the pain. This makes sense of course, but I have NEVER heard of it being pierced this way, and once the holes heal, won't they be off in aligning the bar with the piercings, causing me even more pain? They told me if I get it pierced in my home town to tell the piercer to do it the way they suggested but I'm not sure at all. I could take the pain if that was the only issue, but if it would heal better.. I'm not sure. Help? Thanks!
i have a friend who got that done, and i am also wanting to get that done. she says it was a smart move to put the hoops in, and then the barbell, because it does reduce a lot of the pain. anyway, about the healing better, i didn't know that, but if that is the case, better safe than sorry.
