- Q: Hey, so i have some maths homework and it's called multiplying brackets and says i need to expand and simplify! I really need some help on how to do it, i've had a really hard weekend and i forgot how to do it!
- They are like parenthesis like ( and ) . You distribute the first number and sign to the left of the [ to the inside numbers. Ex: -2[3-2x] -6+4x
- Q: I tried wax but it won't stick onto the bracket. It's been bothering me since this morning usually it stops while in school but this time it just kept pinching and grabbing onto the skin in my mouth! What should I do? It really hurts!
- It's not sticking because either the bracket is wet, or the wax is too cold, too small. Use a bit of kleenex or a Q-tip and really dry off the bracket (and under the wire next to it). Warm up the wax blob by rolling it in your hands until it softens, or under warm water if your hands are cold (then blot it dry!). It gets stickier when warm. Make sure you use enough. If you don't use a large enough blob of wax, it won't be able to grab onto enough of the metal. If you can, use enough to cover the bracket AND wrap a little bit around the wire nearby so it kind of secures itself.

- Yes, you will. But before you buy, be aware that there are varying qualities of bracket. The cheapie folding type you find in most camera stores may not be sturdy enough -- some are pretty wobbly. A good brand is Stroboframe, but they're pricey. If you can track down one of the older Vivitar swivel grips, they are industrial strength and supremely comfortable to hold. Hope this helps.

- It depends on your Orthodontist. Mine doesn't charge a cent for new brackets. It all was paid for with the braces. However, my friend's Orthodontist does charge her. After the 2nd one is broken, you don't get anymore for free after that. I don't know what he charged her. Just call your Ortho! You don't want to wait too long with broken brackets. It will make your treatment longer. Just get them fixed ASAP.

- Q: I am a single mom and I received a decent refund last year but I made more this year.
