- Q:I am having a really hard time screwing the screws in the brackets to install my faux wood blinds. the screws are really long. i was wondering would it be okay to just put liquid nails on the brackets to hold them in place. Has anyone done this before, or do you think it would be strong enough to hold the blinds up?
- I suggest NOT trying to glue the brackets in place. If you are having a tough time with the screws, try predrilling the holes. Take the bracket and place it where you need it to go. Mark the screw holes with a pencil. Set the bracket aside for a minute and use a drill to start your holes for you. The screws will go in way easier if you have started the holes for them. Make sure the drill bit you use is a bit smaller than the screw you are using. If you are in doubt about the size of drill bit to use, then make a test hole in a scrap of wood and try to screw the screw into that test hole. Make all the holes you need, then put the bracket up. Then do the other bracket or brackets. If you don't have a drill then ask around a little bit. Usually SOMEONE has one. Even in my college dorm there was always someone who had a drill. If you really really can't find one, then go buy a little cheapy hand held one from Home Creepo. It will come in handy for years and years. Or if you use it and then decide it is not something you really want to keep, then just return it for a refund. Tell them you were disappointed in its performance, because it was gutless. If you get one of the small hand drills then this will not be a lie those things really don't have much power, but it will get this job done for you.

- There have been several generations of 105 cranksets over the years. If your crankset is a modern 5600 or 5700 series, then the bottom bracket spindle is integrated into the right crank arm. You don't choose a spindle width. The bottom bracket consists of two bearing cups through which the spindle is inserted. The 5500 series uses an octalink bottom bracket. You choose either the 109mm for a double crank or the 118 for a triple. The early 7/8 speed 105 cranks (1055/1056/1057) used square taper spindles. On these, you choose the width that gives you a good chainline. For a road bike with a double crank and 43.5 chainline, you'd probably choose a 113mm (1055) or 107/110 (1056). For a triple (1057) with a 45mm chainline, you'd probably need a 118mm spindle.

- square brackets just mean the absolute value so that it always has to be positive whatever is in the brackets.
- Q:I have only had my braces a few fews, but a few days after i got my braces i ate hard candy and a bracket broke. Its been like two weeks and my mom still hasnt made an appointment until today. Now the two back brackets are broken in the way back on the right side, and the third one to the front is like bent sidways. Also, the wire is bent. I think they are breaking because of the wire. I am really scared I am going to get in trouble for having 3 broken brackets and a broken wire and not wearing my bands because of it AND waiting over a week. I am so scared!! Am I overreacting?
- A broken bracket / wire means a trip to your orthodontist, same day if possible. I'm not sure why you waited so long but they can fix you up pretty easily. Your not going to get in trouble, but of course your teeth aren't correcting on your right side now, so every day you wait is just adding to your treatment time. Your orthodontist will yell at you for not coming in sooner, not for breaking a bracket. You're obviously new to braces and still learning how to not mess them with food. Good luck!

- Call the orthodontist and make an appointment to get it fixed. Loose or broken brackets cannot work properly and can prolong your treatment time.

- I think it's where each division is put into separate brackets. (Brackets show the series of games played during a tournament.) As the teams win, they move from quarterfinals, to semifinals, then to finals while moving up on the brackets. As for a flight bracket I think that's the whole individual division. Hope this helped!
