well I'm pretty sure that you are getting the brackets first because in order for the wire to go your teeth you need the brackets to clip them into I have braces as for the color thinks they clip onto the brackets and they are called Aks

Q:I had an orthodontist appointment early this morning and it went well until I got home and noticed something strange. I've had braces for almost two years now, so I know when something is up. My orthodontist uses Damon brackets that are self-ligating, they have doors on them that click open and close in order to keep the wire in place. When I got home I realized that all the doors on my brackets were open when their usually not. But the thing is my orthodontist put me into a 19.25 TMA wire, which I don't think I've ever had before either. Should the doors on Damon brackets be left open?

The assistant may not have snapped them closedbetter give them a call ASAP. We use a bracket like the damon style for the 3 Month Braces technique and sometimes they don't always snap down all the way the first time.

If your other income is only $5000, then the first $4500 from the 401K gets a zero tax rate, the next $8500 a 10% rate, then 15%. This assumes you are single.

Im not sure what you're dad is saying but thats not true. I had this braces thing called the Herbst appliance and it was bars, screws, caps and brackets all over and one time i broke them eating a fruit roll up (i balled it up and chewed on it and the first chew it broke) and it felt maybe a little pressure but no pain it just popped off. Also for braces once you get them it will hurt for a few days but you can put wax on the brackets to prevent irritation on your lips. Also eat soft foods the first few days so it won't hurt. Also make sure you brush your teeth after every meal! Because with braces your teeth build plaque very quickly and if you don't take care of them you get many cavities, puffy gums, and when your braces come off you have stains from them. Good luck getting your braces!

Q:I wondered if you could break a bracket by flossing because if then i wouldn't want to floss that often.

No I'm pretty sure you can't but I'd recommend buying the tiny brushes you can buy as they are much more effective than flossing and you can get in to the brackets with ease.

As long as you get into your Orthodontist very soon, should not add much time. The longer you put it off, the longer your treatment time will increase.
