- Q:Difference between u-PVC drain pipe and pressure hard polyvinyl chloride water supply pipe (UPVC)
- PVC PVC, English (Polyvinyl chloride, referred to as PVC) is a vinyl chloride monomer (vinyl chloride monomer, referred to as VCM) in peroxide, such as azo compound initiator; or in light, under the action of heat polymerization by free radical reaction mechanism of polymerization of polymers. The vinyl chloride homopolymer and vinyl chloride copolymer are collectively referred to as vinyl chloride resins.
- Q:What is that white plastic tube (usually made of wires inside) made of? PVC?
- The decoration for wiring, placed inside the three line, was on the inside, one is to protect, if problems occur is two line line for convenient decoration, are generally the first cloth tube, threading holes, tile or wood flooring
- Q:Answer in units of s
- 220/13.3=16.5
- Q:what is dialysis tubing? how can it be used to demonstrate osmosis?
- Dialysis tubing is actually a semi-permeable membrane when used in water. Experiments illustrating osmosis and pressure gradients across a membrane use dialysis tubing. This tubing usually comes in rolls and when wet, will open up into a cylindrical tube that can be tied off at the ends. The tubing can also be fitted over a thistle tube for such experiments. Dialysis tubing is literally a semi-permeable sheet of plastic. [Like a cell membrane, it can allow certain things in, but not everything.] In a dialysis tubing experiment, one fills the inside of the sheet with a concentrated liquid of some sort and then seals off the open ends of the tube. Then, one places the tube and liquid into another type of liquid and after awhile, the liquid from the outside moves inside the tube. What I did for my first dialysis tubing experiment was filling the inside of the tube with a concentrated starch solution and placed the tubing into a beaker of Lugol's solution diluted with distilled water. After a 1/2 hr, some of the Lugol's and distilled water will have entered the dialysis tubing. One can see that osmosis has happened because the Lugol's in the tube would have turned blue when in contact with the starch. Osmosis caused the diluted/unconcentrated solution of Lugol's and dH2O to go through the semi permeable membrane and into the concentrated solution of starch. Like a cell's membrane, if the outside of the cell is more concentrated, the cell would lose water because the the water will leave the cell and go for the concentrated outside environment. If the inside of the cell was more concentrated than the outside, the outside water will go into the cell through the semipermeable membrane.
- Q:How are plastic tubes affected by temperature changes?
- Plastic tubes can be affected by temperature changes in different ways. Extreme heat can cause them to expand, potentially leading to changes in shape or size. On the other hand, extreme cold can cause the tubes to contract, which may also affect their dimensions. Additionally, fluctuating temperatures can lead to the degradation or weakening of the plastic material over time. Therefore, it is important to choose a plastic material that can withstand the specific temperature range it will be exposed to in order to minimize any adverse effects.
- Q:Are plastic tubes tamper-evident?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be made tamper-evident by incorporating features such as seals, shrink bands, or breakable tabs that clearly indicate if the tube has been tampered with.
- Q:How to mend a hole in a plastic pipe?
- A sheet of plastic, the thickness of which is equivalent to the wall of the basin. The material is then sanded with a sand wall and painted with 502 (501) glue. Press it quickly and press it for a few minutes.
- Q:My son had ear tubes inserted about two years ago. I have always used drops in his ears and cleaned them, etc. Sometimes I would look in them with a flashlight to make sure they were ok and not leaking, (When you get an ear infection with tubes, your ears drain some). Today I was doing just that with a flashlight and I actually saw the tubes in both ears..I never noticed this before and I am a VERY observant mother. Could this mean they are getting loose or close to falling out?? Or is it just that I never noticed before. I did try to see them when he first got the tubes, but I never could. Today, out of nowhere I could see these white plastic tubes?? He has been very cranky and irritable, but can't seem to pinpoint where he isn't feeling well. Does losing your tubes (if that is what it is) cause some discomfort?? I imagine it would...anything involving your ears doesn't feel very good. Any medical professionals or experienced parents with any good thoughts???
- i strongly suggest to bring him to his ENT doctor. have it checked.. you can only visualize it through an otoscope and not a flashlight. if you can see it something might be wrong. so have it checked now
- Q:What are the advantages of using plastic tubes in the pharmaceutical industry?
- There are several advantages of using plastic tubes in the pharmaceutical industry. Firstly, plastic tubes provide a high level of hygiene and safety as they are non-reactive and do not interact with the contents of the tube, ensuring the purity and integrity of the pharmaceutical products. Secondly, plastic tubes are lightweight and highly portable, making them ideal for transportation and distribution of pharmaceutical products. Additionally, plastic tubes are cost-effective compared to other materials, allowing for efficient production and lower manufacturing costs. Lastly, plastic tubes offer versatility in terms of size, shape, and functionality, enabling customization to meet specific pharmaceutical packaging requirements.
- Q:Can plastic tubes be used for packaging food products?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for packaging food products.
