Meanwhile, steel lining is added into the cavities of sections to enhance their rigidity. Then a high-quality plastic steel door or and window is assembled as a whole, with an error of not more than 0.2mm. 2. By developing independently accessory moulds to optimize the features of its plastic steel doors and windows, Yuhong plastic steel doors and windows are free from the problem with inferior performance caused by the inadequate adaptability between sections and hardware, which are always from different manufactures. 3. Corrosion resistance: Yuhong doors and windows have good corrosion resistance due to the unique formulation of their sections, and all the accessories all dedicated anti-corrosive hardware, which will not be corroded even in severe circumstances. 4. Weathering resistance: the addition of stabilizer, anti-ager and modifying agent to the section formulation in a suitable proportion enhances the weathering resistance of sections, which will not discolor even after many years of service. 5. Fire retardancy: Yuhong doors and windows, which do not combust themselves, nor contribute to combustion, is safe and reliable. 6. Insulation property: Yuhong doors and windows do not conduct electricity due to their superior electric insulation property, and thus have a high level of safety factor. |
- Q:I have a 1994 convertible with a plastic rear window, and it has 13 years of dirtiness on that thing. There is a bunch of ugly what I presume are scratches all across teh middle (probably from the folding process). Also, there are little almost transparent white circles (you have to see them from an angle though)... that are also really annoying. Can you identify what those circles are??I've tried meguire's plastx polish...and even some white vinegar distilled in water.Currently, im looking for a more aggressive product.
- when mine did that i spent a year and a lot of cash tryin to fix it in the end i realized i should of just replaced it to begin with. If you decide to replace it, you might have to do the whole top, but its worth it. Just make sure that when you do replace it to look for a company that makes one with a GLASS rear window. You be glad you did. I am.
- Q:is the space between the glass and the window seal important
- I've lived in a few rentals where we had to weatherstrip the windows, and at no time did it ever occur to me that the landlord should pay for it. Weatherstripping is just part of living life in a colder climate. You don't need to pay outrageous amounts for expensive weatherstripping products. If the gap is an inch or two at the top of your window, just roll up some old towels or cleaning rags to fit into the gap. They'll stop the wind just as well as some plastic product you have to pay for at the hardware store, and your curtains or blinds will cover them anyway, so you don't have to care if it doesn't look too good. If the windows have an actual structural problem, though, so that they really can't be closed tightly enough to lock, you might try to convince the landlord to have repairs done based on the fact that they're a security hazard. (Yeah, I know, nobody's likely to break in to an attic, but you can at least try.)
- Q:Is it ok to recycle these envelops with other white office paper? Or do they belong to the garbage bin?
- Those envelops are so frustrating! I separate the plastic from the paper...either cut it out with scissors if ripping it out is too 'messy'. Recycle the envelope and unfortunately add the plastic to the garbage bin. That's what I do anyways. Hope that helps.
- Q:Is it necessary to remove the plastic window from paper CD sleeves before recycling?
- Not in UK
- Q:97 Wrangler soft top. I scratched the plastic up and would like to polish it out. Any tips?
- There are several kinds of plastic polish. Search for plastic polish on OKorder or google.
- Q:I don't know why house windows are made with glass instead of plastic
- Plastic is more porous so glass is a better weatherproof material.
- Q:Have very little budget to work with, paid Marshall Construction of Kalamazoo to do the roof, haven't seen him since (Even with the contract), windows are in really poor condition and need to be replaced but don't have the funds to do it (Lost job like everyone else in Michigan). I have almost a zero budget to do this thanks to people like Marshall construction. Any suggestions how to get this 900 sqft home to stay warm without the furnace always working?
- Plastic on the windows will help a little, especially if you can keep at least a couple inches between the glass and the plastic. If you do not have carpeting, put down some rugs. Check your furnace filter, make sure it is clean. Also if the construction company left you hanging, take them to court, you may be limited to the amount you can recover in small claims, but it also might push them into doing the work.
- Q:What exactly is this clear plastic window called and can I replace it? If so, where would I find the part? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Do I need to replace the entire cluster panel?
- Have you called the parts department at your Ford dealer? When I worked at Ford in the 80s I believe you could order them as a separate part.
- Q:I don't know what they mean by 'apply tape to bottom of protruding sill.' I have a sill, do they mean on the surface of it, or below the sill on the wall, or should i just put the tape around the window and apply the plastic, just not sure how to handle the sill...thanks...
- Having used this stuff myself, I've learned that the weak point in the system is the adhesive strength of the tape. Since the plastic will be stretched, it will be pulling constantly against the tape, so having the plastic go around edges before taping helps to reduce the force against the tape. In other words, instead of putting the tape along the inside edges of the molding, or even on the face, I wrap the plastic across the face of the molding and attach the tape along the outside edges of the molding, where it meets the wall. With the plastic going around a 90-degree bend, it helps relieve stress on that adhesive. At the sill, I put the tape on the bottom of the sill -- not the face of it, but the underside. That's what has worked best for me. The tape holds, and the plastic stays in place.
- Q:In my bedroom I have an arc-shaped window over the regular window. There are plastic grids between the panes of glass for decoration. One of them fell to it's side. Is there a way to fix this without replacing the window? Thanks!
