Solar Polycrystalline Series Panels

Introduction of Solar Monocrystalline Series Panels

CNBM Solar photovoltaic (PV) Panel is designed for large electrical power requirements. It is the optimal choice for both on-grid and off-grid power systems. CNBM Solar panel offers high performance of power per square foot of solar array. Monocrystalline silicon(c-Si): often made using the Czochralski process. Single-crystal wafer cells tend to be expensive, and because they are cut from cylindrical ingots, do not completely cover a square solar cell module without a substantial waste of refined silicon. Hence most c-Si panels have uncovered gaps at the four corners of the cells.

Characteristics of Solar Polycrystalline Series Panels

Q:Nuclear reactors vs. Solar panels?
: Mostly produce heat 2: Keep Clean, trim branches, over hanging shrubs, and things like that.
Q:Why should I use a Charge Controller for my Battery and Solar Panel based on these provided details?
Should I really be concerned with a Charge Controller? Yes. The main purpose of the charge controller is to protect the battery from over charging. Over charging reduces battery life. And spending extra money for a MPPT type controller will get more more useable power out of your solar panel. Would another battery of the same magnitude be helpful in preventing an accident? How much storage capacity does your current battery have (measured in kWH)? A ~$20 Kill-a-Watt meter would take a lot of uncertainty out of how much power you actually use. Even deep cycle batteries suffer reduced battery life from deep discharges. The battery sounds too small for the loads you describe so I would think you would want more. ---------------------------------------... After reading the other answer In a nutshell, with your small 2 volt starting battery, 24 volt panel and a mix of unknown loads, (which is correct), I thought I would elaborate. I had not considered the possibility that you bought a 24 volt panel for your 2 volt battery. Hooking the panel you bought directly to the current battery is a horrible idea. I you were lucky it would just cook the battery in a short period of time. You basically bought the wrong type of panel for a 2 volt system. I assume that there are no controllers on the the market for this situation. If that's the case, I don't know of any good way match the 24v panel to the 2 volt battery.
Q:Why dont we have a gigantic solar panel system in the warm states, stretching miles across to supply the usa?
It's not a matter of Federal money or Federal programs or attitudes of the government that keeps your grand plan for generating large amounts of electrical power using solar panel systems and distributing it country wide with fiber optics from becoming a reality. It's technology. Whatever optimistic speculations you may have heard or read, large scale, dependable generation of electrical power at steady high levels from solar cells is nowhere near a reality. Some of the big culprits are the variable atmosphere of the earth and the inefficiency of practical and economic solar cells. The conversion does not depend on the warmth of the states where generation might take place but on constant direct sunlight, unobscured by clouds in the atmosphere for most of every day, and on high efficiency solar cells. No states can depend on clear skies 365 days of the year and there's the little matter of night time, when nothing would be generated. Also, the electricity generated by solar panels cannot be carried by fiber optics since they carry electromagnetic energy (light), not electricity. What may be possible sometime in the not-too-distant future is the use of solar panels to supplement, not replace, conventional power generating systems on a local basis. It would not be required that they provide constant high levels of power every day, but only that they provide power when conditions were right, in order to perform the valuable role of cutting down on the use of fossil fuels in conventional generating systems. (The direct current generated by solar panels would have to be converted to alternating current or stored in batteries to accommodate our present methods and equipment for using electric power.) As soon as this becomes technically and economically feasible, we will not have to wait long to hear about it from the energy corporations and politicians.
Q:Solar panel power question?
The specifications you give say the solar panel produces 5 watts at 2 volts (DC) so that isn't enough voltage to power an ordinary (20-volt) light bulb. You could get 0 of these panels and connect them in series so they put out a total of 20 volts and the total power available would be 50 watts. The panels would light the bulb that way, provided the bulb isn't over 50 watts and you can afford the panels. A panel does provide enough power for a 2-volt car light bulb less than 5 watts. However, the maximum current you can get from these panels is .25 amperes (5 watts divided by 2 volts = .25 A.) This isn't enough power to run your pump which takes 6.5 amperes - at 20 volts, that would be 780 watts. Another thing to check is the pump motor; many electric motors are designed to run on AC only and will be damaged if you try to run DC through them. Remember solar panels produce DC so the raw output from a panel will not work on an AC motor.
Q:What's the best deal for Solar Energy panels for your home?
you have been very mislead by someone. Or ? did you listen to a Obama speech or something ? EDIT ; thanks for response via e mail. But if you think you can save money by, renting solar panels , then you are a very ignorant person. The only way that a scheme would would work ,is if the company that is leasing the panels to you ,,have bribed lobbied the local or fed politicians to get subsidized to provide the panels. then they get payed to install them and guaranteed to make a profit by the gov. for green energy that is why you have to pay 25 cents , while most people pay 0 cents , because you subsidizing all the profits of these Professional thieves. Who's job is to find new ways to get into that deep pool of public dollars,,tax dollars . Question for you .. Do really think the rented solar panels will? ) pay for installation 2) pay for the cost to buy the panes 3) pay the sales commission to the people that sold it to you 4) pay the on going commission to those that over see them 5) Add to that the higher rate on your elec bill to pay for these people to be subsidized , so they can rent you some solar panels ??????? Like I said ,,,,,,,you must be very ignorant about energy. Or very Ignorant about the thousands of companies that are formed to succk tit of the tax payers. You are ignorant on both of those points. So dont get piisssed of at me for answering your question !!!!! Instead , you should ask why you are so easily led ? Why you are so easily fooled by the users ? That is those that use the gov to use ignorant people like you. HAHAHAAH. And you fell for the whole scam without even realizing it That is why I use the word ignorant ,, because you are. If you dont know what ignorant means google it to find out. because you are,
Q:How can I adapt an automotive reglator to a solar panel?
solar panels will naturally produce a certain DC voltage which is what your battery needs - the current will vary based on the sun light. You need probably 4V to have some over voltage. So based on your specs look at having at least 4 V but not too much over that (tells you how many panels you need in series) I would have blocking diodes (probably the solar cell has them built in) to insure the battery does not discharge thru the panel.
Q:How to install a solar panel system?
If you are grid-tied, then a standard solar electric system will always feed back into the grid if you are not utilizing more power in your home than is being generated by the solar panels and inverter system. It is possible that a grid isolation device designed to prevent direct back feeding is available, but haven't heard of one in common use. New laws in most areas of the US are now mandating that utilities allow grid-tied alternative energy systems. Double-check you local laws. Sometimes you can't take the utilities word for truth--most will automatically say 'no' and will only relent when you show up with the law in hand. Unfortunately, some utilities have figured out another way to shut down alternative energy pioneers--they demand multimillion dollar insurance policies covering damage that their equipment could sustain from your little PV system. Technically, they are still in compliance with the law, they just make it impossible for a homeowner to meet their requirements. If you are getting the runaround, go to your state representative for help. It's amazing how contrite those utility people can be when a state senator (or even US Senator) has just sent a letter asking them why they are stonewalling a law-abiding and well-meaning citizen. Good luck, and don't give up!
Q:solar panel battery size?
I'm sure that you might discover everything concerning solar power at www.okorder.com.
Q:I would like some info on Solar panels and Wind Generators...please?
The best sort of solar panel for $ to energy is the hot water type that use a vacuum tube system to heat your water. This saves you money on heating water and is relatively cheap to install compared to other things like wind or PV solar. I'm not too sure about where you live (I'm in the westcountry of the UK where wind energy IS viable... but usually it isn't). The best sort of Photo voltaic solar panel (that makes electricity)is still expensive yet very reliable as they only need photons to fall on them not neccessarily full sunshine and they are improving all the time. It depends on the pitch of your roof as to whether snow settles on them. One can have a system that sells power back to the national grid and then you buy what you need with a discount for what you produce. Obviously if you can afford enough panels one could even make a profit. Or you can go self-sufficient, but then you need batteries and an inverter to convert your 2 volt battery output back to 20 volts or whatever you use (it's 240 volts in the UK). Then it's a matter of how efficient your batteries are in amp hours. Dry mainainence free deep cycle batteries are best for this job and quite expensive still. Wind generators are only really practical if you can mount them high enough from the ground to where there is more constant wind. As I said that depends where you live and the prevailing winds. The very small ones are basically useless except for emergency lighting or something, so one needs a fairly large turbine to produce enough power for a modern home so planning restrictions should be considered when going down this road. For now, solar power is definitely the way to go, even as far North on this planet as Canada and the UK. Good luck. Once you have the system it's basically FREE energy!
Q:How can I build my own solar panel for electricity?
You can buy a box broken cells and solder them together and save big bucks.
