Q: Whether the weight of the power cable per meter is calculated
12 meters below the road should be used to protect the tube, the use of rigid PVC pipe protection of course, but not necessarily have to wear armored cable
Q: If I put pressure on the cord I have power but its almost impossable to work. A local computer repair said I have to replace the mother board. Can't the plug in the back be replaced? Thanks!
try another power lead, check all your connections, having failed that buy another power supply, work with cheapest options 1st
Q: Why is my 2 Gage power cable from the battery to my amp is to hot and makes a big spark and burns the wire when you meet one end to the other end?
Too hot means the current is very high. Probably in excess of 200 amps. I suspect there is a short in the amp, specially if you tried to connect it hot and drew a spark. That will kill a lot of electronics. .
Q: How can i fix it and how much would it cost?
its possible (unless you're sure) that its not the socket. It could be the surge adapter(the plug itself). possible it can be the outlet itself, have you checked a different outlet? Anyway, fortunately, that's not too big of a problem, especially for a laptop. To get it fixed, if its still under warranty, you have to call the manufacturer and ask for technical support. They will most likely send you a box to put the computer in, have you send it to them(prepaid), and they will send it back repaired, IF ITS UNDER WARRENTY. If its not under warranty, you will have to go to a computer technician. usually a place like Best Buy has fast and cheap computer repairs, or you may find a local computer repair shop that suits your needs better. Or you can even send it back to the manufacturer to fix it, be warned however, they usually overcharge on expired warranty repairs. As far as the cost, it can range from fifty to a couple hundred dollars, depending on the problem. Hope i helped
Q: I just bought an electric guitar and an Ibanez Ibz10g 10 watt amplifier. I read the reviews for the amp and someone said it only comes with the power cable.1. Is this true?2. If so will I be able to play with just a power cable or do I have to buy other cables separately? This is probably a stupid question but I seriously have no idea what cables are required for electric guitar. I ordered it from OKorder yesterday and couldn't find any details about what it comes with.
The term power cable is used on electrical appliances such as amplifiers. Some amps have permanent fixed ones while others are detachable. A guitar uses what is called a 1/4 inch instrument (or guitar) cable to connect to a guitar amp. These are properly shielded cables. They either have two straight jack plugs or one straight and one angled - both works fine. A length of 6' seems to suit most situations. These cables come in lots of qualities, from very poor to high quality. You do not need the most expensive ones, just don't get the cheapest qualities. If it's a guitar pack you have purchased, guitar and amp together, it may be that there's a guitar cable included. These are typically very low quality... basically throw away stuff. You hook up the guitar by inserting one end of the cable into the guitar output jack and the other end of the cable into the amplifier input jack - usually found on the front of the amp, labelled 'Input'. And no, it is not a stupid question - we all have to start somewhere! Good luck with your playing :-)
Q: Will it work if I put a pigtail (connect the wires by twisting them together) or does that stop it from working properly..
It is possible to reconnect a severed cable... but unless you know what you are doing and have the special tools and parts to make a proper splice, I would not attempt to do so. The current passing through the laptop transformer is pretty high voltage stuff. If you should happen to cross-connect or develop a short across your splice, you could get a nasty shock, fry your computer or even start a fire. Electricity can be tricky stuff. Make sure you know what you are doing or you, your computer or the both of you could end up in a very bad way. In the long run, you're much better off simply buying a new replacement power supply. Good luck! ***ADDITIONAL*** If the battery light is constantly blinking, the battery in the computer could be dead as well (not surprising given the state of the charger). You probably need to replace both the battery and the charger.
Q: I bought a new amp and sub to replace my old ones. I disconnected the battery, unplugged the old amp and plugged the new one in and when I reconnected my battery the power cable began to smoke at all the exposed ends and got very hot. What causes this? Is it because the new amp requires more current than the old one and that is causing it to get very hot? And what is the solution to my problem? Thanks
What it sounds like is you accidentally connected the wires to the wrong terminals. If current were an issue u would most likely blow a fuse. But dont rule it out, u could just need a thicker gauge power 12v line. And also remember to ALWAYS GROUND the amp. either way, if it is an amp desined for car use, youre batt would never be too much power. If it is a high watt amp, you should look into buying a capaciter. Itll help regulate voltage usage and extend the life of your batt and alternator.
Q: A friend gave me this monitor, but didn't know where the power cord was. I made the mistake of thinking to myself quot;Oh well, it's just the standard plug, I'll just use one at home. But it is this weird 4-5 Pronged slot I haven't seen before. The manufacturer is HP, but I couldn't find any accessories on their site. Can anyone tell me what kind of plug would fit this, or where to get one? I have included a picture, sorry for the poor quality, but it is from my phone.
totally non standard - look as though it must be propriatory to hp
Q: I have a MSI K7 Motherboard... it has a SATA power cable but no data cable. Which kind of confuses me. Please help. Thanks =)
the prvios responses are precise, yet there is two extra issues to evaluate. a million. till you're development your very own new pc, establishing the case advert putting this 2nd stressfulpersistent in will void the guaranty on any new pc this is keep offered or oredered from dell, etc. 2. The stressfulpersistent has jumpers on it that tell the stressfulpersistent what function it has. Ie cable choose, grasp, slave, secondary slave. maximum drives are set to cable choose from the production facility, so be beneficial to plug it into the 2d plug on your unique ide ribbon cable. each from time to time you certainly would desire to alter the jumper to slave in case you purely have an ide cable with a single connector. i'd in my opinion shop the old pc working, connect it to a router/swap and share the cpersistent out. Then i'd get right of entry to the old one from my new pc and replica purely the documents i'd desire to my new one. Your documents are oftentimes placed ordinarily if no longer completely interior of your profile folder. this variety you're purely copying image documents, song, faves, etc.. Makes it much less stressful to ward off copying over a virulent disease or any corruption. reliable luck and congrats!
Q: How do I connect this unit to my cd player? Splicing power cables? not too detailed in the manual.?
im sure it comes with a power harness(plug) you prob have to do some splicing just connect it t0 the same place where you get power for the cd player your probably going to get a wire harness for your cd player right? just match the wires from your cd to your ipod thingy before you solder or crimp your connections
