INSTALLATION SAFETY

1.    Always wear protective head gear, insulating gloves and safety shoes (with rubber soles).

2.    Keep the PV module packed in the carton until installation.

3.    Do not touch the PV module unnecessarily during installation. The glass surface and the frames get hot. There is a risk of burn, or you may collapse because of electric shock.

4.    Do not work under rain, snow or windy conditions.

5.    Use insulated tools

6.    Do not use wet tools

7.    Do not drop tools or hard objects on PV modules

8.    When installing PV modules far above ground, do not drop any object(e.g. PV module or tools).

9.    Make sure flammable gases are not generated near the installation site.

10.  Completely cover the PV module surface with an opaque material during PV module installation and wiring.

11.  Plug in the connector tight and ensure the wiring work.

12.  Due to the risk of electrical shock, do not perform any work if the terminals of PV module are wet.

13.  Do not touch the terminal box and the end of output cable ends ( connectors) with bare hands during installation or under sunlight, regardless of whether the PV module is connected to or disconnected from the system.

14.  Do not unplug the connector if the system circuit is connected to a load.

15.  Do not stamp on the glass at work. There is a risk of injury or electric shock if glass is broken.

16.  Do not work alone (always work as a team of 2 or more people).

17.  Wear a safety belt if working far above the ground.

18.  Do not wear metallic jewelry which can cause electric shock during installation.

19.  Do not damage the surrounding PV modules or mounting structure when replacing a PV module.

20.  Bind cables by the insulation locks. Drooping down of cables from the terminal  box could possibly cause various problems such as animal biting electricity leakage in puddle.

Q:Can solar panels be installed on commercial buildings?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on commercial buildings. In fact, many businesses and organizations are increasingly opting for solar panel installations to generate clean and renewable energy, reduce energy costs, and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability.
Q:I'm looking to mount a solar panel to the top of my 2003 Pontiac Montana and was wondering how i could do it without any screws? Magnets maybe?

Q:Interested in buying solar panels to save on electric bill.Any government help plans?
I live in Ohio so I'm not sure if this is nationwide, but in Ohio there are grants you can apply for if you're investing in alternative energy for your house. I would look into those grants if they're available in your area.
Q:How do solar panels affect roof weight load?
Solar panels can increase the weight load on a roof, but modern solar panel systems are designed to distribute the weight evenly and not exceed the load capacity of the roof.
Q:Tell me complete installation I have one 50Ah battery two 80 watts solar panels about 30 meter DC wire i charge ontroller and 000watt inverter. How i hook two solar panels to charge controller to battery then inverter?
Wires from panels go to controller input terminals. Controller DC battery terminals to battery so that the controller will protect batteries and split power as required by demand to the inverter. Output DC on controller to inverter. Output AC or outlets on the inverter to AC appliances. One thousand watts is not very much capacity. It will keep your computer running and a lamp to read by. It won't run major appliances. A hair dryer is typically 500 watts and could not be run by this system.
Q:does anybudy know about solar panels? plz reply me

Q:i don't know very much about it, but can you somehow take off the little solar panels off of the outdoor light things and make it so you can hook an outlet up to it and plug in to it like a phone charger for electricity.
Little solar panels on lights are very low power. The battery in one such may be 0.5 Amp-hours and .2 V ; it may be different but it should be marked on the panel/battery/manual. An outlet in your house is designed to run on 20 V (typically in N. Am.) and they run on alternating current (AC) whereas the panel generates direct current (DC). (If you don't know the difference, do not worry to much but just understand that they are not directly compatible.) You therefore need an inverter to change DC to AC (and lose some although inverters are now very efficient). But the amount of power generated by those panels is still very small. That is why solar lights are low power (just a few watts in most cases). To make things even more irritating, phone chargers do not work off 20 V AC as you are charging the battery and need a low voltage DC -- which is what the solar panel is giving you. It is almost certain that the voltage from the panel will be less than the voltage required for the phone. The charger is mostly cable but there is a black box incorporated and it should say what the voltage and current output are (the input will be 20V). So you should be able to overcome this not by hooking up the panel to a 20V outlet and then plugging the charger in but by hooking up the panel to the phone directly if you can get enough voltage out of the solar panel (or hook up several) and if you fashion a connection device. They already make them -- solar battery chargers and I am sure you can enter that into a search engine and find loads. Typically the panel alone is much more than a solar light -- which shows the relative power requirements.
Q:Do solar panels work in cloudy weather?
Yes, solar panels can still generate electricity in cloudy weather, although their efficiency may be reduced compared to sunny conditions.
Q:3.8 volts is required to fully charge a battery. But at 3.8 volts, the battery can be overcharged without the use of a controller correct? What if I don't care if the battery is fully charged? In the case of our family boat, I just installed a new radio, so I'm a little worried about power consumption. So now for the real question; If I hook a 2 volt panel to the batteries, do I need to worry about overcharging them? Or will the batteries stop the charging process once they reach 2 volt?I built the panel myself, it's 8 volts at 3.5 amps open circuit. I have tabs at every 3 volt increment on the panel so that I can use less voltage than 8 if I want to power something directly, (ex:2 volt radio)So I'm using the 2 volt tab at 3.5 amps(approx) for a total of approx 48 watts
I have been using solar panels for over ten years never until recently bothered to use a charge controller, it depends really on how much power your batteries can hold how often they will be drained from use of the connected dc-ac inverters. While constant daylight charging at 8v 3.5a/hr is quite heavy it is not excessive, 2v lead acid battery chargers give a voltage output of appx 4.8v but the fluctuating output of a solar panel means you may well charge at 8v for some time but with occasional shade etc it will more likely average at 5v which I think is quite acceptable.
Q:My dad owns a restaurant, and we are doing farely well, but we were thinking on installing solar panels to minimize electricity costs (and of course make it greener). My dad would like to hear some numbers on the price in today (August 29/202) and savings he could possibly make over the years. So In Total Here's What I'm Asking:) Would it be hard to install?2) Maintanence?3) Monthly Expense? (None?)4) Price?5) Savings over time?6) Pros/ConsThank you so much!
Different solar companies install these panels. Check your local area for a free quote. If you don't already have a solar panels for a hot water system yet, consider a thermosiphon design, then you need no electricity to produce hot water. All the other designs require some electricity.
