5.FAQ of Solar Module
1. Q: Do you have your own factory?
A: Yes, we have. Our factory located in Jiangyin city, jiangsu province.
2. Q: How can I visit your factory?
A: Before you take off from your country, please let us know. We will show you the way,or arrange time to pick you up if possible.
3. Q: Could you print our company LOGO on the nameplate and package?
A: Yes, we can do that.
4. Q: Do you accept custom design on size?
A: Yes, if the size is reasonable.
- Q: How do solar panels affect the power grid?
- Solar panels can have both positive and negative effects on the power grid. On the positive side, when solar panels produce excess electricity, it can be fed back into the grid, increasing the overall supply of electricity. This can help reduce the demand on traditional power plants and decrease greenhouse gas emissions. However, the intermittent nature of solar power can also introduce challenges to the grid, as it can cause fluctuations in electricity supply. To mitigate this, grid operators need to carefully manage and balance the overall energy mix to ensure a stable and reliable power supply.
- Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with frequent thunderstorms?
- Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with frequent thunderstorms. While thunderstorms may temporarily reduce solar panel efficiency, modern solar panels are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, including lightning strikes. Additionally, thunderstorms also bring heavy rainfall, which can help clean the solar panels and improve their performance.
- Q: Can solar panels be used for powering electric fences?
- Yes, solar panels can be used to power electric fences. By harnessing the sun's energy, solar panels can generate electricity that can be stored in batteries and used to power electric fence systems. This renewable energy source offers a sustainable and cost-effective solution for powering electric fences in remote areas or locations without access to traditional power sources.
- Q: Got a small project here in a remote location. There is to be a 2 volt deep cycle battery, the equipment to be powered from battery and solar panel to charge battery. The 2 volt battery puts out 55 AH. the max constant power draw from the equipment to be powered is 7.9 watts. Will a 30 watt panel at 2 volts be enough to run this system during sunlight and charge the battery for the equipment to run overnight? And, at 55 AH, how long can I keep a constant draw of 7.9 watts without a recharge? Thanks to all the input!

- Q: Can solar panels be installed on a mobile home?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on a mobile home. In fact, mobile homes are well-suited for solar installations due to their compact size and portability. Installing solar panels can provide mobile homeowners with an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to traditional energy sources.
- Q: Is it as simple as buying the panels, an inverter and plugging it into a wall-socket, assuming it would just send power back into the outlet and supplement my house's electrical usage, or... Is it not that simple?Remember, I'm talking about a SMALL system, and I don't care how little power it'd make, or how uneconomical it would be.
- Not that simple. The N E C covers electrical systems and your state utility regulators cover what and how you can do it. As a practical consideration the inverter produces power and would have an outlet to tap it. Possibly a standard convenience outlet that is the same as your house devices. The problem is to provide a cord that does NOT have exposed hot conductors when it is plugged in and how do you isolate the system from the power grid. To do this you need both a reverse service device and transfer switch that will isolate the house from the grid while the inverter is operating.
- Q: Why should I have a Generator if I have Solar Panels.....?
- Solar panels generate DC power. If you need AC power, you need an inverter.
- Q: I am in need of solar panels and the batteries that I can store the energy in. I need to be able to run a laptop, cell phone, and LED lights from it. When I research I see all sorts of options with regards to watts, VMPs, and AMPs. I also see that I may need a controller, an inverter, and various other components. Can anyone help me through these terms and what i need to know in order to efficiently generate and store the electricity. Thanks
- I think the point you're trying to make is that solar electricity is more expensive than other means of mass produced electricity today, and I would agree. However, that doesn't mean that solar panels are not worthwhile, especially to a consumer in the right location. After the electric company adds in its distribution fees and profit, residential solar electric can actually be cheaper. And in fact, we have had panels on our roof for the past 5 years. Somewhere in the world, there's a factory producing AA batteries to use in flashlights, cameras, and so forth. I'm certain the factory does not run off AA batteries, yet I find AA batteries invaluable for certain things around the house.
- Q: Can solar panels be installed on a school or educational institution?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on a school or educational institution. In fact, many schools and educational institutions are increasingly adopting solar energy as a sustainable and cost-effective solution for their power needs. Solar panels can be installed on rooftops, parking lots, or open areas to generate clean electricity, reduce carbon emissions, and provide educational opportunities for students to learn about renewable energy.
- Q: Are there any risks of fire associated with solar panels?
- Yes, there are certain risks of fire associated with solar panels, although they are relatively low compared to other energy sources. Potential causes of fire include electrical malfunctions, improper installation or maintenance, and damage from external factors such as lightning or extreme weather conditions. However, modern solar panel systems are designed with safety measures in place to minimize these risks, including fire-resistant materials and enhanced electrical protection. Regular inspections and adherence to installation guidelines can further reduce the chances of fire incidents.
