Q: I have this bathroom vanity light that was given to me by dads friend who owns a lighting company. It is a really nice lighting fixture that attaches to my bathroom mirror. There is one problem I have with it one of bulbs broke the glass piece that covers it. I think what happened was the bulb got so hot that it broke it. I glued but back but the heat from the bulb burned the glue and now the whole lighting fixture looks like crap and I want to replace it, however I am not sure what type of lighting fixture will attach to the mirror. Is there something special I have to look for. Any help Thanks: I would take the other fixture off and go around to the flea markets, or old furniture dealers and see if I could find something similar that would fit in the existing fixture.

You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet! I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out.

Q: We want to install a larger vanity in our bathroom but the toilet is in the way. Would it be possible to install one on the wall next to it? The vanity would still be covering up the plumbing but I didnt know if it could be lengthened and run through the cabinet to the sink. What about if we installed a double vanity? We have an older single one right now. Thanks!: If I understand your explanation I think you can make this happen. You just need to choose a vanity without drawers on that side. You'll be lengthening the water supply lines and drain to be able to reach the sink and you'll have to make sure the longer drain line can run slightly downhill between the P trap and the connection at the wall. The extra length there might give you minor problems in the future if it gets even a little clogged because there is so much more pipe before the plumbing vent in the wall but it should be manageable.

Q: I was taking off a bathroom vanity light and the wires came undone.Usually, it is just a black to black, a white to white and a ground to hook up the light...but when I looked at the wires...There is a white wire coming out of the wall above the sink where I am going to put it ing out of the white wire istwo black wires caped together.two white wires caped together and one red wire caped by itself.When I hook the black and white wires on the light to the black and white wires on the wall...the light turns on, but then the wall switch will not turn off.Does anyone know how to wire this light with this wire configuration?: Unusual Bathroom Lights

Q: Well here's the story. I was dying my hair last night and for the first time since I started dying my hair (it's been about 8 years) I ended up getting dye on the cabinet. Well I've tried pretty much everything I can think of to get it off and it's stained. Now my aunt is pissed, as I knew she would be, and I need to replace the door where the dye stained.Does anyone know how much it costs to replace JUST the door.
