- I don't live in the US so I don't really know how bad T-Mobile is. I haven't heard of the MyTouch 4G, but I have heard of the G2 (but known as the HTC Desire Z outside of US). I've heard good thigns about the G2, it's a pretty good phone, there aren't really much of a problem with it. The only flaw that some people have reported is that while sliding out the keyboard, the wire that connects the screen to the actual phone becomes exposed and it looks fragile like it would break at some point (the wire is important because if it becomes detached the screen will not work). Although, no one has reported an incident with it. So you should be fine with it. The good thing about it is that it runs on Stock Android meaning that you can update as soon as Google releases a new version of Android. HTC phones are pretty good in terms of quality and I know people with HTC phones so, I'd recommend it.

- Yes,you would simply visit the T-Mobile store and take them your phone. Tell them you want to activate it with pre pay, and they will set up service and get you a new sim with a new number.

- You can't. You will need to get a boost mobile phone to use with boost. They use different technology and are not compatible with each others network.
- Q: I just bought a virgin mobile phone.LoVeD it! But on the top of the phone where the icons are there is a GPS icon(checked in the user guide). In the guide it said it means that the location service of my phone is disabled/enabled. What does that mean??
- if the Icon is on the screen GPS is enabled it just means that for instance if you lose your phone or get lost kidnapped (whatever) they can track you down as long as the phone is turned on.GPS means Global Positioning System.they also rec commend you have it enabled/on so if you call 911 they can get your general location.no harm in it i usually leave mine on its just kind of a safeguard i suppose

Either you are already a customer of theirs…. Or…. plan on being a customer of theirs in the next 10-15 minutes. Lmao 2) Branded wireless carrier phones sold at Full Price (499-699) on national retailer sotres and sites (walmart, amazon, radioshack, best buy) are locked to that carrier. You must call the carrier to obtain the unlock code. 3) Non-branded wireless carrier phones are sold ONLY by the OEM and are naturally unlocked, may/may not have additional hardware/software installed than basic wireless carrier versions, and are geared, mod’d more to developers and techs rather than the idiot sheeple of the general public. - Most phones will work if there unlocked. But not all the features will work. But T-mobile will not unlock phones for non customers. The sim will fit. I have a friend whose sidekick (t-mobile phone) works on ATT fully functional. I have two blackberry's for ATT that work on T-mobile. All my phones are unlocked by either ATT or T-mobile. If you have a friend that has T-mobile get them to unlock it for you. But they have to be account holder.

- yes. You can do it online, over the phone or at any Sprint Store, Boost Mobile store, RadioShack or Best Buy. It costs $10, so make sure you have that balance in your account.

- I don't think it can be done. And if it can be, not very easily. Here's why. Virgin Mobile makes great cheap phones. But they come at a different price. They intentionally limit (nice way of saying cripple) the phone in certain ways to prevent phone unlockers from taking these cheap phones and putting them on other phone networks like Metro PCS or Cricket. Virgin Mobile along with Tracfone both sell cheap phones and are famous for suing big time phone unlockers. And often winning the lawsuits too. To prevent unlockers from hacking their phones , one of the most common things they do is limit user access to the phone by limiting usb cable connections, bluetooth and other data port connections between the phones and pcs ( usb cable connections is one of the most common ways to flash/unlock a phone). The Aloha might be an exception but I don't think so because it is a cheaper model. (Virgin doesn't want some company buying up hundreds of Alohas at Best Buy or whatever and reflashing them and reselling them for a big profit at Virgin Mobile's expense.) They spend a lot protecting their lower end stuff. Kind of ironic really .
